The clip where JK was freestyling at around the two minute mark was while the members were working on a song together for their show BTS in the Soop. Suga, who was producing, made them each go in there and freestyle adlibs and then chose his favorites to put in. The funny thing about it is they were only taking it semi seriously, lol. They were fooling around a lot.

wow you're actually dead on right about the freestyling part. This clip is the time when BTS are recording the theme song for their reality show "In the SOOP" and in the clip you watch SUGA ask all the members to just freestyle the adlibs part of the song (its actually quite funny and amazing at the same time). They actually made the song on the spot during the show and joking around with it but SUGA (the raper&producer) ran to grab his recording equipment to record the members while they're playing around and he just arrange the song on the spot (the demo melody) and for the real recording its really interesting to see all the members discuss the lyrics, melody , who sings which part & we get to see Prod. SUGA/RM/J-Hope in action, it just shows they truly love and a pro at what they're doing. P.S: be on a lookout on their upcoming album "Map of the Soul:BE" BTS has always been hands on in the creative process when it comes to their work, but now they went full out this time with all the member participate in the Albums producing, Creative Direction, MV filming, project management, the visual design basically this will be “most 'BTS-esque' music yet and ARMYs can't wait for it!

He's the MAIN VOCALIST in the group (highest position for a vocalist) and is known for having the most stable vocals among all the members especially while they are performing. In recording of euphoria song jungkook solo songs , there was no English subs but he was saying to producer about adding adlibs. And in the soop ost making you will see him adding adlibs. Most of their comments in the video are like "can i just add this adlib or change it?" The solo recordings you saw are of each one's own songs, so even though the producer is there helping, they are the ones who are deciding what goes into the song.

Jeon Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, a 23-years-old super talent, called Golden Maknae ( golden child), National treasure of Korea and the best voice of Kpop, is something else. He is well known for astonishing ease with which he picks up on virtually everything he does. He raps, he sings, he dances, he shoots and edits own videos, he composes, he writes, he paints, he draws, is a super sport man, is the most stable and has the biggest stamina on stage.... he can sing pop, rock, hip hop, R&B, country, and all in between, he carries majority of choruses on his shoulders, he does most of backing vocals and his ad-libs are pretty insane too. The guy is unreal.

There is a short production booth film of Suga, J-hope and RM in the production studio discussing the final mixing of their song Ddang, released 2018,, probably part of their live stage dress rehersal film I think. It gives insight that BTS members are heavily involved as artist/producers of their musical recordings. Ddang was an independent track the rap sub-group put out on their 5-year anniversary. Those 3 tend to be artist producers on many of BTS groups tracks. For that reason they are all full members of RIAK. From time to time the BTS vocalists are involved on the production side, more so for their own solos.

on dailymotion you find a video called "[ENG] BTS In the SOOP Ep.8 (Part 3/3) - Back To Our Everyday Life" in it shows them recording the theme song of the reality show they recorded a while ago, one of the members SUGA was the one who produced, but all the others also contributed in the lyrics and melody. This song was created very fast, in the middle of a game where one of the members played the piano and sang random lyrics.

One of the rappers(Suga) did a live stream a few days ago where he sang and played Guitar, it would be an interesting video for you to watch/react to. There are many videos people posted, but I'd recommend a video called 'Yoongi playing guitar for 15 minutes straight(he sang)' It's just a suggestion since it's not procesed at all because it was a live stream. 😁💜 fun fact: he's self-taught (at guitar) and only just started recently

I dont actually know korean so well so dont bash me please haha : 5:05 , 6:58 Jk is asking if they can record again and if he needs to do it again, nothing very important but now I notice that JK is kind of a perfectionist. 9:48 RM explained the feeling or emotions he was trying to go in the recording, so that it could match with the voice of V and what he felt when he wrote his part of the song --> 4 O'clock by V and RM. A few things about the time and place they were recording. V was taught by a wonderful singer to sing soulful music both V and Jungkook. Jungkook recording in a living room is actually Jungkook recording in a room (don't know who's), when they were off doing shows. Since Suga and RM produce they just set up a mic in a room and work on new music. It was the song Euphoria do you need an explanation of the name of the song? Or that they were talking about whether he should raise that up the next time because he thinks he can hit the next note up, and he did. The guys working together at the end of the 7:12 was when they were just starting out and they actually didn't have much equipment but in reality they used one mic for this because they wanted to get good free reactions. The song was I need you. Next is V singing 4' O clock and yes V can sing very softly into the mic. He was talking about ad lib is what he wants.

@@RayAndre Well, the thing with R.M. and his singing is that it can go in two very different directions, lol. Both BTS members and ARMYs (BTS's fandom) joke around when it comes to his vocal abilities, but when it actually comes down to it - he does in fact have a decent singing voice. It wouldn't of course be fair to compare his singing to the vocal-line in BTS, that have been training for 8-9 years. He is a rapper first and foremost, but there have been instances where he have provided vocals to some songs. Personally I think he's doing a good job, especially considering he hasn't been trained in different vocal techniques. There's a video on YT called "RM CAN'T SING" by the user "JKARMY" that shows off some of his vocals. Again, I'm very sorry but YT won't allow me to post links either unfortunately. In fact, all the rappers in BTS can sing as well. The rapper Suga sings occasionally on some of his solo songs. A lot of people that are new to BTS won't know this but, the rapper J-Hope often provide background vocals on many of their songs.

@@RayAndre I prefer Baritones and enjoy RM’s singing voice -of course he probably needs more coaching since he’s rapper but I enjoy his vocals allot on his solo mixtape MONO. It’s an amazing album and tied with Ed Shereen with most #1 on iTunes for a soloist. V who was the first to sing on this vid has my favorite vocals in BTS; very soulful and beautiful rich tone. @@RayAndre i learned to speak korean a long time ago when i joined community classes & meetups in nyc then i studied abroad in south korea in college. Classes and distant korean friends only take you so far tho so watching a lot of bts content has being doing the job

OK, so I’m gonna recommend their solo works: RM’s mixtape MONO (all the tracks are great and should be listened to in one sitting. Its so well produced). Suga’s (aka Agust D’s mix tape D2). Start with Daechwita, which has an official MV (lots of traditional Korean instruments on this track). Phenomenal.

V & RM were recording 네시 (4 O'CLOCK) (it's the first song V composed, he asked RM to help him with the lyrics and asked him to sing a little, because V said "ARMYs like when he sings too"). V started writing this when he was waiting for Jimin in a park, but the song topic is him reflecting about the feelings he has during sunset, longing, melancholy. It's sort of a lullaby.
