BTS is still treated unfairly today. But the difference is that BTS has grown in power n influence. They are in a better position to deal with the bullshit that come their way - "Bring the pain"! For example a TV station was angry at BTS for not joining their year-end TV special last year. BTS declined because they were invited to perform at Dick Clarke's countdown at Times Square. The station was so salty that they blacklisted all artists under BigHit Label from their show. BigHit clapped back by organizing their own year-end concert this year. The station reacted by removing Dynamite from its music show competions only to reinstate it a week later after a backlash. Epic!

Their label is literally music for healing and it truly heals listeners all over the world and the artists themself. BTS found you just like all of us. I was part of the yg family and stanned every group that came out of it. And now that bighit is becoming bigger and doing more things, more corrupt things will happen whether u like it or not. Bighit has also done shady things towards the members as well. The one that pops into my head was them taking a picture of yoongis painting and profiting off of it by putting it in the BE album. No company is sunchine and rainbows. Even fantagio (one of the most friendly ones) has had its fair cases of baddness. And when companies get bigger so does the corruption

That’s the thing it is not meant to discredit the effort of other idol groups but at this point you can’t deny that it’s called BIG 3 for a reason, there is influence and money in between to try to secure success. The fact that BTS being the first korean group nominated to the Grammys is being completely ignored in korea because kmedia claim it’s “not a big category so it’s not that important”. BTS has and still is treated unfairly but some people can’t see beyond the numbers

Another malicious thing that used to happen to BTS when they were not famous/popular was that broadcasting companies would shorten or straight forward cut their performances on TV. There's this kpop festival that promised BTS to be the last act to perform, but they changed the script and had other artist performing instead of them, so BTS performed with all the confetti already spread over the floor, the lights off and with the cameras off, so sadly we don't have hd footage of that day :(( Also, KZbin channels of music show now upload BTS performances of their old songs when they didn't do it back in the days just because now bts is popular and they know army will watch the content. Great Reaction!!! I have nothing against kpop group members, but the nature of the large companies focuses more on power and influence over actual songwriting/artistry. I enjoy music more when companies create environments where the artists write, produce, and overall have a choice in what they're doing. Now, I know that BigHit is currently a huge company, but you can still see that that BTS members and even TXT members are in a safe environment where they can create music themselves. Suga said it himself that it's like a year long songwriting camp :) That is why I am an ARMY and I like Khh/Krmb. This is my personal opinion.

Watching videos about their hardships (there's a lot) always breaks my heart but its so amazing see how they kept going and didn't give up on it all even though they almost did at many times. I think I really came to like BTS because of how authentic, humble, real people they are (not that the others aren't) and you can see that the fame and money didn't change them negatively. There's so much more than is said in this Video. Antis trended the hashtag 'plagiarism boys' on twitter during a BTS concert, so the boys could see it right after finishing the Encore. They tried to give BTS a black Ocean during an Award show, meaning that all fan lights were supposed to be turned off only for BTS performance, which is disrespectful and damaging. They tried to take away BTS's Song of the Year Award and even petitioned the Blue House, the Presidents office similar to the American White House, to cancel the entire award show when BTS won fair and square. Variety show MCs made fun of them 'for comedy', mistreated and borderline bullied them. The amount of abuse BTS and ARMY faced early on in their careers is absolutely disgusting. If people wonder why the fandom as a whole is so defense of their achievements and vocal about every single award, this is why. Because we need people to know that you can't mess with these beautiful people anymore who have done so much for their fans and people all around the world. They're generous, kind, humble and deserve everything good that is happening to them. This doesn't excuse toxic fans obviously, who only answer hate with hate. Their behavior is no better than haters. ARMY is just proud to be able to support the right people

Hi I love your reactions! I also agree that there are lot of similarities between BTS and Mamamoo! They are both free/funny/quirky, bring their authentic selves to the stage and are incredible live performers. They also make their own style of music and don't sound like anyone else. People used to attack BTS because they didn't believe in their talent, but now they attack them because they are threatened by them. Sometimes it's also because the fandom can be a bit much and that can give people the wrong impression about the idols. It happens to many groups, sadly. My ult group is also treated how BTS was treated, and I'm almost afraid of them getting more famous despite being so proud of their growth these past three years. I hope fans of other groups can at least respect the idols and how hard they work, even if the idols come from the Big 3. Like I hate most companies and fandoms, but I love and respect their artists.

although idols from bigger agencies do have some kinds of privilege, it's only to an extent. The bigger the company the bigger the competition, that's why there are people who trained for as far as 7 years don't get their debut. It's the competition, and to compete with hundreds of people while you're at it is difficult. I see that blackpink was brought up in this video, and i will say they may seem like they got the golden spoon which they did, the members all trained from 4-7 years while competing, bts didn't have to compete they simply made up a a great group from the very beginning. So the difference is that while bts went through their harshest days after they debuted blackpink suffered their harshest days before their debuted and i'm not saying blackpink don't suffer now, cause they're literally the most hated group for no reason, same with bts they faced constant ups and downs and they managed to debut in unity. so i don't see why this video kept comparing groups while they all worked hard, no i don't listen to blackpink but this video could've simply stated bts's hardships instead of making it seem like other idols didn't try at all. I hope ya'll get my point of view.

Actually MAMAMOO and BTS are two groups that are pretty close. They really do respect each other as artists and they have a lot of funny moments with each other. Moonbyul even left Jin a big "housewarming" /congratulation plant/flower when he opened a resturang with his brother! She said he did such a good job. Jin and Moonbyul are btw very close friends! :) They are both 92-liners and are in a group chat together with a few other idols born 92. You know that one end of the year performers where Moonbyul included Joonie's (RM's) famous line from Dope in here rap? She actually called jin in advise and told him she had prepared a surprise for him to look after, hihi, And there are famcams from BTS reaction to that performers as well. My ARMYMOO heart are overflowing :')

What's beautiful is that BTS treats their juniors at music shows very warmly and with respect. Something they never got in their earlier days. You can literally see them getting ready next to the bathrooms as they were not given a room to get ready like other(even junior) artists. You know what's even more outrageous? The things is when the older generation groups just appeared for an interview in America, they would blow their popularity out of proportion in Korea. Even have fake pap set up. So Korean people naturally assumed that they were making waves and huge contributions but with bts even though they were achieving huge milestones step by step, it was never reported on. So when they became so big and started to be invited to awards and called in America the Boyband causing mania, the Koreans were shocked and thought it was out of no where. They really had to become undeniably the biggest to have their country even notice them. Even now they just consider BTS as one of the popular groups now and all BTSs achievements are grouped as kpop achievement so people don't really know the extent of what they have done for the industry as a whole.

Please know, groups don’t hate on groups. BTS doesn’t speak against other groups. BTS only speaks love, (ignore the disstracks. Lol) and togetherness. Any fighting is done by fans, or behind the scenes by companies. BTS is also not fenced in by the term kpop. They want to be, ARMY wants to be, bigger than that. Global idols. Many people say ARMY is toxic, and I agree that some people who say they are ARMY are toxic. But if they don’t uphold the values of BTS and ARMY, they AREN’T ARMY. Just like you can say you are a certain religion, but if you don’t follow the principles, then your words are only words. ARMY welcomes any new fans, we welcome reactors. Anyone that approaches BTS with an open mind and is willing to learn about them, is welcome. Anyone who looks and sees 7 heartfelt and humble guys who have worked extremely hard to get where they are, who have accomplished a crazy amount with the deck stacked against them is welcome. ARMY is protective of BTS because we’ve seen their pain and struggles. Seen the attacks on Twitter that are almost constant, and pick up with every accomplishment. Most ARMY are also multistans and support many groups. So for other fan groups to hate on BTS because they are big or because some “ARMY” are toxic hurts.

maybe u dont know but dbsk is REAALLLYY HUGE ARTIST like REALLY REALLY BIGG at that time, the biggest boyband from asia i may say (before super junior becoming more and more bigger) and the threee members just?? gone? banned. Jaejoong is so popular tho like reallu popular even until now, but he just cant really go near the ent industry.
