in Old Duke's theme there can be heard the different kind of bells, the lower-pitched ones. They do in fact indicate that this mortal being is not to be underestimated as a mortal that is you (Terrarian), yet the sound doesn't "shine the godly power" in it. Raw, metal, battle of strength

An interesting point of some of the music that comes in later on in the soundtrack, and this is only explicitly seen in “roar of the jungle dragon”, is that they almost feel like the boss theme is not for the boss, but rather for the player who is fighting the boss. The roles reverse somewhere, the whole thing of “im not stuck in here with you, you’re stuck in here with me” type of deal. I find it interesting.

Fun little List of Motifs here Guardian of the Former Seas / Outcast of the Sulphurous Seas (Desert Scourge / Aquatic Scourge) are remade into the song's introduction. Blood Coagulant (The Perforators) can be heard at 1:01, but is rarely acknowledged as it is very subtle in the song's background. Antarctic Reinforcement (Cryogen) plays at 1:53 into the song. 1NF3$+@+!0N (Crabulon) plays at 3:01. Return to Slime (The Slime God) plays at 3:23. The Filthy Mind (The Hive Mind) plays at 3:56. Left Alone (Brimstone Elemental) plays at 4:32.

3:24 you can hear the “slime leitmotif” which you already heard in “Return to the Slime” track and you will hear in multiple tracks: -Interstellar Stomper(Astrum Aureus’ Theme) -Cosmic Disgust(Astrageldon’s Phase 1 Theme) -Galactic Destruction(Astrageldon’s Phase 2 Theme) It all connects to the Astrageldon which is a Galactic Black Hole Slime that devours planets and galaxies. It’s even superior than Slime God.

This song has several leitmotifs, Guardian of the Former Seas, Antarctic Reinforcement, Left Alone, Return to Slime, Infestation. But there is one, important, Motif, that will be in a future calamity track, that is for the main villain of calamity mod. Yharim, and it is the final 8 notes of the song before it loops, and the motif is simply known, as "Yharim's Insignia" which is at 7:07, and it is one of several Yharim leitmotif's across the mod. And the first yharon theme, which you will probably hear later on, Infernal Catharsis, all I will say is that, the main motifs of it, belong to Yharim. And you'll hear those 8 bell notes, again much later on. But, there is one upcoming calamity song, that is still being worked on, for a boss named "Draedon" and his current theme is a placeholder
