So sad to hear that David Soul just passed away. I remember watching him when I was younger on the TV show "Starsky & Hutch". He was a real heart throb. Also loved this hit song by him "Don't Give Up On Us".

Omgoodness, Tony 😢😢 you just made me cry… He was an amazing actor..Starsky and Hutch was one of my favorite tv shows growing up.. the song was used in one of the episode.. RIP “Hutch” (David Soul).. ❤❤❤

Used to love starsky & Hutch as a kid, in fact I still do (own the box set) I had no idea he was a British citizen until his death. R.I.P

I was very sad to hear of his death. His singing was eclipsed by his acting and directing. I always forget he moved to the U.K. and had an extensive theater career there as well as singing. Another unusual one during this time was Leonard Nimoy which I thought of because David Soul guested on Star Trek. Nimoy was Spock. He has one silly song he wrote The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins but published 5 or 6 more and did musical theater. Back in the 60s and 70s it was much more usual for artists to do both. Not many crossovers today though. My favorite performance by David Soul was in Salem's Lot. It required a bit more than he got to do usually in Starsky and Hutch.

Omg, he was such an idol of mine when growing up in the UK . I had hundreds of posters up in my bedroom of both of them, it drove my mother mad😂 RIP David❤❤

Jeez, I remember when this came out. My mum liked this song. 🤣. Soppy music has never been my type of music, but He had a surprisingly good voice.

So sad to hear of his passing. Poor guy wanted to do more music, but got pigeonholed as a blonde, blue eyed TV heartthrob! Always remember my dad asking me if I was watching Car keys and Clutch! He thought it was funny! 🙄😂

What a tune. I remember that & silver lady growing up. Don't make music that anymore. Sad to hear of his recent passing. Loved starsky & hutch.
