I saw this and read a bunch of comments on the original drop. One woman said that watching Mitch singing this helped her decide not to commit suicide. What she was saying was heart breaking, but how others reached out to her was also very joyous. That Mitch was, in a way, a life saver, and that complete strangers were reaching out to help, was life affirming. Music is one of those things that is transcendual and magical.

Lol did you see the thing where Scott was asked about the neighbour who recorded & uploaded him singing from her balcony or window (you can't see him, but you definitely hear him)? He'd apparently been belting out the same line over and over to get it right and/or commit it to memory. He said something like he was grateful she chose a version where he sounded good. I cannot imagine what it might be like being their neighbour, I imagine both amazing and frustrating in equal measures at times.

When a person exerts power over another in a relationship, it can quite literally squeeze the life out of them! Billie calls out the excuses too. I watched another person's video reaction for the song The Prayer, and in the comments a music instructor from a prestigious music school, directed the researcher to go to a specific time in the video and he points out that Scott is holding a note and he is actually a little flat of the note. When Mitch comes in, he comes in exactly on the note. He said it is very hard to do when someone else is a little off. Your natural tendency is to come in where they are but Mitch just nailed it right on the note. He has the most beautiful tone to his voice and something inside me is touched every time I hear him sing. Doesn't matter what. I feel so blessed to be living to hear him perform.

Mitch has done some livestreams fairly recently where he talked about expanding his knowledge during the pandemic. He said he felt like a lot of it is stuff he should have paid attention to before, but better late than never. Having to set up the videos and track recording for PTX for himself - all the other members have significant others they are locked down with that lend a hand - really jumpstarted it for him. But, yeah, now he's experimenting with doing the mixing and whatnot himself... and this is our result.

But Mitch can't be replaced! I am sure they would choose someone insanely talented though, who could successfully sing the parts that Mitch sang. I just know I would NOT want to be the new guy trying to fill those shoes!! Mitch has a great voice and I realise his loose fitting clothes is a part of his stage presence, but in this case a long drooping ill fitting leather coat sort of visually distracts me from the song. Now come on, the song is slow and there is no or little room for expression in the melody, if you can call it that.
