There needs to be an “all Tatiana, all the time” channel, or something. 😂 I’d like to see her overshadow some other musicians’ new projects.

Tatiana is on another level alright. Glad to have got to see Jinjer, her vocals live are amazing!!

Cristian Machado is a fabulous seasoned veteran lead from Il Nino. Agree with you observation of both leads. Tati is a beast.

Great reaction as always! I wish I had the background you do to be able to pick out chord progressions and such, it just gives such insight into the song itself. Thanks for sharing. 🙂 Fun fact - 3 of the members were formerly in Ill Niño, a group that Tatiana was a huge fan of. Lions at the Gate also put out a 'making of' video for this - at Tatiana was the one that was nervous and a bit star struck doing this with this group. Just makes me love her all the more. I don't know what it is about her growls, but they truly are some of the best I've ever heard. She is so good at varying the depth and character, as well as actually applying as much diction as you can, that they just feel different - they hit home, so to speak. And then she sings clean and it's just a whole new level. She literally could be a star just with her clean singing.

Читаешь мои мысли, опередил меня)) Было забавно услышать о том, что Крис нервничает находясь на сцене рядом с Таней)) По факту всё наоборот 😁

Alex Lopez, Tati's boyfriend (and ex Suicide Silence drummer), brought this to her and she recorded her parts in Kiev. She's a huge fan of Cristian Machado, the lead singer. Edit: Not of the video, her tracks (in case that was confusing). She came over to the US, with Alex, to do the video.

As per usual, great video John. I feel like everyone is fighting to get Tatiana in one of their songs, because you can't go wrong what she brings. In this video alone, she sings with so many "different" voices, and each time, it's simply amazing. Quite incredible to have so much talent...

The idea of this guy being nervous about working with Tati is actually kind of funny because there is a video out there I have seen of her on the set of this video acting like a total gushing fangirl of this guy. In fact I don't think I've ever seen her like that.

referring to this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKLEYoJ9gL2jf5I i also found it funny. i imagine the whole lions atG band was starstruck w her! especially with how she killed it on the track

Great reaction again, thank you. I think that any great singer can seem ordinary next to Tatiana, Tatiana has an embarrassment of riches, for me I think that she is one of the best singers out there, regardless of genre.

Who else casually throws in "1,6,4,5 progressions are used a lot in Baroque compositions"?! o_O #TheMoreYouKnow LOL The NIN & Korn references are quality btw. European pop sensibilities absolutely in evidence too. I hope folks are appreciating what you're giving them on here! :)

Psyched you reacted to this one. Much of the band is made up of former members of Ill Niño, a band that was a staple for me from the nu metal era. For me back then, Korn, Sevendust, Slipknot, (hed) PE and Ill Niño were the major contributors to the soundtrack of that chapter of my life. Their nu metal roots are likely why they reminded you of Korn because they’ve really stayed true to the sound of that era, with a touch of modern thrown in. Honestly, if someone told me this was an Ill Niño song from back in the early 2000s, it would fit right in to their discography, but I love that these dudes are doing their own thing now and getting some love, too.

Tatiana definitely did steal the show there, but I think the band very much knew what they were doing in giving her such a prominent spot, which to me makes it the best collab so far. It's pretty much the band Ill Nino btw, in case you know about them.

Have you seen the Decapitated one? I don't know how I ended up scheduling this one first but I actually listened to it before this one. It's fucking incredible.
@Dark__Thoughts2 жыл бұрын
@@JWSoundworks2 I've seen that collab as well, yes. Buuuuut I can't help but feel that they might've put her purposely not onto any screaming parts there, even though it is part of most of the song. Not that I think she has to always scream, but when the majority of the song is like that I'm going to wonder if that wasn't intentional. That's why I commend Lions At The Gate here for giving her such a prominent spot, despite being the guest vocalist.
@JWSoundworks22 жыл бұрын
@@Dark__Thoughts fair points! I guess the main difference for me is that this song is elevated to a decent standard by Tatiana's presence whereas the Decapitated one is an incredible song that Tatiana is a part of.

She did a cover of man in the box with suicide silence during the pandemic. It's great. Would have been better if she did it alone.

Waiting for you to mess around with Candiria. Just for the sake of people new to Metal I'd like to see you react to Meraya or Blood. Otherwise afterwards any early Candiria would do.

Must check them out. You don't think I'm new to metal though, right? Or do you mean my subscribers?

The chorus is too power-metally or something or my taste - I think that's the "European commercial metal" sound you're referring to, & it doesn't do anything for me. The piano is nice, but almost seems like a token since it appears so briefly. The intro riff & verses sound awesome, especially the verses where Tati is doing her nasty stuff. Good song overall, but doesn't induce me to buy the album.
@Qyngali2 жыл бұрын
Too bad it's been ruined by autotune... 99% sure it was totally unnecessary too. The tune itself is fine, though not something that makes me want to buy an album.
