My grandfather, who died recently, had a radio shop back in the 90s. His name was Dave Hubbell. Sometime during his radio station, Yoko Ono, from some news or interview outlet, asked that there would be a moment of silence from everyone who heard her for the death of John Lennon. A ballsy move from her, nonetheless intriguing and respectful to her husband. After she made that comment, many radio stations, including my grandfathers, announced that there would be a silence for John Lennon. He, along with many others, was impacted by John Lennon in a thankful, utterly charming way without even knowing the guy.

They changed the world. They were so admired and loved by many. Yet they all moved on. I still hate the fact that someone took his life from him. He was A father to his sons, he made A stupid comment and It wasn't true, but the world got over it. Thanks for the amazing music 🎶 and memories.

this was really nice, well put together, and I appreciated that it was only Lennon talking. But I would say, that there was a period say 1973 - 1975 that was not represented here - that was really important to his story. The "Lost weekend".

Haha….you know what’s odd? All the people that say Paul is fake and was replaced (even though he has mostly always looked the same), when it was actually JOHN whose appearance changed significantly over the years and came to look like a totally different person from the way he looked when the world first came to know him. Yet, nobody says a word about him not being the real John Lennon. 😏😊

I've thought this my whole life that John Lennon of 1963 looked completely different than John Lennon of 1968.

I always thought when I was little that they were speaking about John being replaced and fake, not Paul. But as I grow up I understood the assigment and the information. It was believed that about Paul because of his walking on bare foot on that poster on Abbey Street in the background. John was just evolving during the years, rapidily, he turned from a rebellion teenager into a very balanced philosophical adult praising for peace and all good moral standard. But actually his voice and his impetuouse way of being never changed. I will forever love John Lennon, the first of my idols since childwood, and not an idol that you have a crush on, I saw him very unattractive when I was younger, but that kind of idol that you can listen and actually learn stuff, find out meaningfull things about the world, life, inner self...

Eh, it would have been nice to hear a voice clip that I've never heard. Every single statement that Lennon said was stolen from The Beatles Anthology.

@9:41 John is talking to Paul and you can see the connection, and then Yoko uses chewing gum to break the connection.
