I personally feel like this remix has a feeling of wistful longing and nostalgia to it. I’m imagining a closing shot of a character rolling through his childhood neighborhood seeing kids playing and people living their lives. (Maybe we’ve seen these places earlier in the story) They see the faces of lost friends and family in these people doing mundane tasks. They wish that they could be there among them, but know they have to keep pushing on. Though their family and friends are gone, life continues and the character drives off. The end credits roll over the car disappearing into the distance.

I know some people grown at the mention of race, but Tyler holds a special place in my heart because he was THE weird black kid who made it. There are aspects of myself that I feel not only different from other kids, but especially those of my own race. Yet somehow this edit heightened that feeling of being understood on a whole other level. The way it's honestly so hard to articulate into words to relate to something on such a spiritual level when you've been overlooked or an outcast for years.

Yesterday, i was tired. So tired from a long day of work. I was walking on my way home as usual, and then i remembered about this arrangement from one of my favorite music ever. So instead of listening to the same rock/heavy metal stuff i decided to take a listen again. At that moment, it felt like this song was MADE for moments like those. It was beautiful. It might sound stupid, childish even But i was so happy walking my way home with this in my ears. Walking to the sounds of the beautiful trumpets, the quiet flute and clarinets... Right in front of the sunset. Man i love this song so much, and this arrangement feels like the title is actually true ❤

I will always remember how it felt with the buildup when he ended a concert with this as his last song. It was fitting. And seeing it live was amazing

See you again was the first Tyler song I ever heard. I fell in love with the song, listened to it often, and at some point I decided to discover his music. Ever since then I’ve been a Tyler fan. He is truly my favorite musical artist. The song “See you again” truly changed my life.

Everything about this is so beautiful man wtf. That intro is fucking cinematic, I just imagine this amazing movie opening scene. The different parts taken from different performances of this song. The NPR session, his live shows. Just everything, grabbing the best parts for the best moments. Truly a work of art. The replaying of certain verses that I never thought we needed, and the outro. God the outro. Not only is it the ending but it plays his verse from Where This Flower Blooms. And even after that we get another cinematic piece of music. Wow. Insane. Absolutely insane. This was amazing, I’m so glad I got to experience this omg/.

This just happened winter evening. I came across this video knowing that I love that song. I am sitting listening to this masterpiece and reading through emotional comments. Suddenly my mom came and hugged me saying that she loves me and she is glad having a daughter like me. The song is playing while we ‘re hugging. Then she left and I burst into tears. I never knew one silly tiny moment of life could rise so many emotions.

Actually, this changed my life. I was listening to this in the morning when my phone fell out of my pocket. This time, the impact of the fall was enough to make it stop working again. Now, I will have more free time to improve myself academically and physically. I'll remove so many distractions from my life and have fewer things that remind me of the past I want to forget so much. And now, I won't have as much instant gratification as if it were an addiction.

This was a pretty amazing mix. The idea of mixing the different versions of see you again was hella crative and as a long time flowerboy fan I appriciated that with all my heart. With that being said I felt like some of the mixing especially with the beginning chant section and the ending were a little too high on the mix but everything else was fantasic. Thank you so much for making this homie
