Dude. One of my guilty pleasures is watching reactions to my favorite polyphia songs. A lot of polyphia enthusiasts do this because you get to experience the music all over again. I love watching people new to polyphia going down, what we refer to as, the “Polyphia Rabit Hole”. That said, I’ve watched TONS of reactions and your pointers and input were very unique and I learned a lot. Thumbs up for sure

Dude I got into polyphia from ego-death coming across my facebook feed, which was like 2 months ago? Since then I've gone head first down the rabbit hole and got my spotify wrap a few weeks ago and they ended up being my number 1 listened to artist at 1306 minutes! These dude really are on such another level

@@paularsenault2810 I got into Polyphia randomly through one of Davie504's vids about two weeks before Playing God dropped, number 1 on Spotify wrapped as well, 1835 minutes! Also happy holidays :)

The one playing the trumpet is Ivan from Brasstracks. They are the feature in the first song on the album (Genesis) and this song is the final one. So, it's a nice little piece of cohesion that they're first and last on the album

My dude, I’ve seen these guys live, the show was note for note flawless. Absolutely masterful. Give some of their playthroughs a watch. They do a live full Band studio recording of neurotica that is mind blowing!

The guitar at the beginning is an Ibanez that was made years ago but discontinued due to poor sales. But Tim got one and has worked with Ibanez to make them again. It’s in preorder now for about $699 and will ship in early 2023 I think. It’s under the tod10 name and is one of his new signature line. Also released a 6 string Ibanez electric that just got announced a week ago. Scotty has his as well. No 7 strings yet. I ordered the nylon one for my son who is a guitar and bass player (he’s 15). He’s wanted a classical guitar to add to his collection and this Ibanez gives him the sound but can also be used with an amp so seemed like a good option.

Some people got it already so it started shipping in the EU I guess.

The "synth you are hearing toward the end is actually the trumpet player brasstracks from the outro!! He is featured in 3 of the songs off of their new album and they are all the best songs on the album IMO.

On an interview with Tim he said that he found an Ibanez guitar in a pawn shop in Germany. He messaged Ibanez and they told him it was a marketing failure from 1998. He then pursued it's re-enlightenment with his suggestion.

Without Steve... This song prolly can't be replicated live. Everyone else can replicate their parts. But The opening of Steve's part.... Used joint shifting. A technique he created that... Despite giving lessons n theory guides on it... Ppl are having diffulty executing. . You add in the fact that Steve enhanced that technique with whammy inflections means... To replicate his part accurately.... You have to understand and be comfortable with that technique, while still... Being able to shred at an elite level. Steve... At this point in time... Is the only person experienced and proficiency in all the aspects of his part of the track. So yeah... The only way we get a full run thru, that meets expectations sonically.... Is if polyphia do it with Steve as a special performance
