Worth mentioning the context behind this clip - this was a live-streamed recital I gave last summer of the complete Ysaÿe violin sonata cycle almost immediately after getting off a transatlantic flight after having performed at the G7 summit held in Charlevoix, QC, Canada. So in a way, probably the craziest thing I ever did. Good memories.

I love the emphasis he manages to insert using subtle accents. Completely changes the whole piece, my favorite interpretation for sure.
