I wouldn’t say “lasted” that’s implying they aren’t still lasting lmao I mean obviously they aren’t making new music but I grew up in the early 2000s, it’s not like their music was insanely relevant. But my sister in the early 2010s became obsessed with The Bee Gees and knew every song and threw that I ended up hearing a million of their songs I wouldn’t of otherwise that I ended up loving. They also have so many songs like Mr Natural, Massachusetts or I Started a Joke that weren’t “following a trend” at all to what the other dude said

@@tomasfernandez5207 I think it is a fair comparison in context. The Rolling Stones have shown remarkable longevity and I would say they are equally famous. 75 years is stretching it. 60 years would be more accurate (they were formed in 1962, the year I first saw them in Cambridge). However they are a quintessential rock and roll band and have never been anything else. The Beatles evolved, as did the Bee Gees, although the Beatles also broke up. Now Mick Jagger is the only survivor of the original Stones. Like the Beatles and the Bee Gees, two of the early members have died.

I had no idea they wrote all these other songs that different artists made hits with. I remember most of their songs from the 60's through the 80's enough to sing with. Wow what memories!

I remember buying some of their 45s records. I had no idea they started out this young, and this brought me back to some great memories. Thanks! XO
