The Tremonti was my 2 year Employee guitar. I wanted the McCarty but it was taken off the rotating list of choices I could make when I was eligible. I picked the Tremonti because of the similar shape and in reality am mainly a metal player. Love the guitar, but so afraid to scratch it. Haha.

McCarty sounds softer and more pleasing to the ears for clean tones, even sweeter when overdriven.
