Well, that's true that most of the Asians have high pitched voices but not many of them can hit such high notes that well. High pitched voice doesn't mean that you can hit very high notes. Regardless of high pitched voices usually their vocal range is not very big.There are more black singers who have deeper voices and can hit more higher notes or wider vocal ranges. For example Aretha F. could sing in the 2th octave and belt in the 6th octave. How many Asian singers can do that, not in the 2th octave but belting in the 6th? SoHyang has natural ability to sing higher notes so full and powerful with ease. Usually such high notes are too thin or string like - not very pleasant to listen to. SoHyang has more natural fullness and resonance in higher notes. However, this doesn't mean that most of Asians have the same ability like her. Not at all. So, Asians in general are not more gifted at higher notes more than other races. Few of them are indeed.

So I'm sure someone probably mentioned this but she actually had pneumonia right before this performance and was instructed by her physician to not even speak the day of the performance, but she felt like it was her calling to do this performance and against her doctors orders she sang..when she wasn't even supposed to speak..and she still sounded like that, she also had liver disease. Her health has been kind of bad recently so wishing her all the best and a healthy recovery~

She was seen by a Dr just before going on, and the Dr told her NOT TO SPEAK, yet with weak lungs and a bad throat she still does this.
