With Mariah’s signature layering of her vocals on her songs.. you need like 3-4 Mariahs to sing and sound like the record.. maybe what she does live is she plays the pre recorded lows and highs and she sings the middle over it . When all of those vocals blend and melt together = perfection.. she is the only singer I can think of that gives equal importance to the background and foreground vocals of the song.

She was singing along to a backtrack completely live; but she sounds so great that people think she's lip-syncing 😍👏 Yayyy & GTFO grew on M Angel (I love that both of you are quite honest with your reactions rather than just appeasing fans). I think Mariah is lightening her mix to reduce stress on her voice. It's surprising that her voice is sounding "babyish" and Celine is sounding "older" as they both age.

All that could be heard was the backing track through lol. The verses, chorus, belting and everything was s backing track. The reason her voice sounds weird is because it’s heavily enhanced (auto tuned) in studio.

A lot of people don't realize she was singing along with a backing track with the vocals lowered down on the parts she plan to sing live and say she's lip syncing. Yeah we all know she lip syncs at times like every other artist it's just sad now they are accusing her of doing it every time she sings. You can even see when she's taking breaths to sing her parts. Oh well. The reaction when the men came out of her dress though was by far the most hilarious reaction I have seen to it lol.

Her vocal decline is majorly commensurate with her nodule condition. Her voice does sound thinner and less resonant because it is blocking her air flow and causing tension on her cords. Also, the corsette she's wearing might lessen her lung capacity and breath support. Wish some doctor would be able to cure it for her and she had more confidence in her body image without corsette.

So, I think she'll be able to sing well if she does some practices after operation. However, what people dread is that operation would take her signature ability to whistle.
