Yep! After the frustration of the previous 3 days it was sorely needed for my morale. :)

You’re lucky your daughter wants to hang with you! I’ll be doing mine alone since my 3 kids are all grown up and on their own!

Well, this WAS Precursor for her own convertible Super Beetle project, so she needed to learn, but she lost interest before we could get to it and doesn't even want to learn how to drive. That being said, it's nearly impossible to do this by yourself. You need another pair of hands for a few of these steps.

@@musichistorynut I do have a friend who can help luckily. But this is something neither of us have done. I got all of the bows on but a couple of measurements in Chucks manual are confusing so I’m gonna call him before I go any further!

@@robertsupriano1969 that’s the best way. Because you’re right. This manuals are NOT intuitive at all.

4:39 ... ...lol... My ADHD won't allow me to hand sew those listings. I glazed the bows three times and then set the listings. I'm still lost on where stuff goes. If I'm missing any parts I'm not going to know until I get there. ...lol... oh boy.

LOL. - oh - it was killing my ADHD too, but that extra strength is really needed - especially if you are in a very hot environment, where even the best adhesives can get goopy and let things come off. (Ask me how I know!). I used too much adhesive with the front bow and the "cap" of the top that goes onto it. It came loose during the first summer. I cleaned it and re-applied, but it didn't help. I ended up using some very shallow screws and thin aluminum strips to stop the material from tearing through the screws to keep things in place. 2 summers later things are still in place. Best wishes on your project!!
