Rob (lead here) studied opera in college so he has a great voice. Tim (bass and songwriter) did a beautiful job with Amazing Grace. They just came out with Tim’s song I’ve Seen that’s beautiful. Love Home Free. They have 2 other songs from the Church Sessions (which was a church but is now a recording studio). I’ve seen them live 3 times and they are remarkable. Please react to more Home Free! God Bless you and your family!😄

Rob Lundquist is perfect for singing such songs with his beautiful voice full of emotion, soul, warmth and so solid... It penetrates far into my body. Yes, this is not just hearing a song, but also feeling it. And then the piece by Tim Foust is also so beautiful and reminds me of my father's funeral. I was only 6 years old at the time (a long time ago) but I still remember so clearly that we sang Amazing Grace, one of my father's favorite songs. As always, the background vocals, harmony and bass are great. ❤❤❤❤❤

So very sorry for the loss of your mom. Moms are special people.❤ Man, oh man, oh man! 😢 I love Vince’s version, but this was absolutely beautiful!! Sometimes it’s really hard to make it through a song that reminds you of someone you are missing, but sometimes that song fills that empty space in your heart a little. I hope this is a healing salve for all that listen. 🎶❤️

I absolutely understand about keeping things basically sacrosanct when there's an original you've heard, that has ministered very specially to you. This one wasn't that way for me, but there are some that still are. The first time I heard Home Free's version of THIS, was a behind-the-scenes version we got, as patrons. Then I watched the official video, and then this one. In 2017, Judi and I (and her second-oldest son) were scheduled to get to see our first (and so far only) live Home Free concert. They featured this one, as well as "Castle on the Hill." Both of them, live, totally blew us away...even more than watching them online. If you EVER get a chance to go to one of their concerts, GO! Thank you!
@setonhillstudios7 ай бұрын
I had to look up what sacrosanct meant, but that’s exactly what I was trying to say 🤣 I’ve heard their live concerts are quite the experience in person, I’m sure it was an amazing time! Glad you enjoyed this one, love listening to these guys they are so talented!

Great reaction! Love this video and the official video, which will pull at your heartstrings with the storyline; it’s worth another reaction. 😊 I highly recommend you react to I Can’t Outrun Youa Trace Adkins cover; video concept and direction by Chance. And that is why many of us prefer this version. It is more focused on the music and not the story.

@@nancyholter5646 It may be sad but I still like the video
@nancyholter56467 ай бұрын
@@LynnRamsay it is a very good video, but I just think if you are wanting to concentrate on the music, that is not the one to watch BECASUE the story is so compelling. Just like I prefer the old God Bless the USA to the one with Lee Greenwood - the focus in the new one is more on the soldiers and Lee than on the song (visually). But I think we can agree that all 4 videos are great, and the HF music never suffers.
@teresacartwright54067 ай бұрын
Although I thoroughly enjoy everything they do, I just love the live videos. Another of the 'Country Rebel Church Sessions" is "It's a Great Day to be Alive". Because they've always toured extensively (150-200 shows a year) & never restricted filming/posting their concerts, there are lots of live videos. Moreover 3 of them are song writers, so there are lots of originals as well.
@lindaslater77827 ай бұрын
I like this version, but prefer the original video. Maybe the story part reminds me of all my family members who served, and are still serving, in the military or maybe because the video goes with the words. The video doesn't keep me from focusing on the words and Home Free's beautiful voices. Rob is perfect for the lead, and adding Amazing Grace was a surprise blessing.

Chance is killing the bass line on this one. These harmonies are without comparison.
