This song is super emotional 🥲 I have tears in my eyes every time I listen to it

The part about it’s for the sake of the future never fails to make me cry. It’s so perfectly sung. The concept of protecting the future is very heroic. Can’t get enough.
Homura is one of my favourite endings of all i've listened to, and really emotional most if you have already seen the Mugen Train ark

I have seen the Mugen Train ark, but I had a hard time remembering when the song played while filming this. Was it in the end credits?

@@Roninmann that's why it's starting with "Sayonara", "Arigatou", she is saying that to Rengoku 😢, she is litteraly speaking about how they met each other, how they all thought in a future with Rengoku and how all ended, Homura is a elegie, a song dedicated to the death of Rengoku (my favourite hashira btw)

in fact i think that Tanjiro is the speaker of the lyrics, saying that he is gonna be the protecter, now that Rengoku is gone and granting his wishes (4:32 - 4:45)

待ってました! Finally! At last! This song was written during the corona. For a musician, being deprived of the opportunity to meet the audience in person is like having your wings pulled off. Her powerful song gave strength to many Japanese in this situation. There are many youtube reactors out there, but they are all able to transcend language and national borders. I think this is a rare example of a person who was able to convey something beyond language and national borders. Thanks Ronin Man

Life is hard, and it is true to keep going. It is a good reminder that we are stronger than we think! I didn't cry either, but I felt a lil lump in my throat lol

If I have it right from various sources, she's been through quite a bit personally in the year of this performance as well. Her partner apparently cheated on her for a long time and in general it is said to have been a very toxic relationship. I don't know if this is true, but it explains for me her reaction to these lyrics, as well as to those of a few other songs. _____________________ _"We all may never know what it is to be ourselves"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 Replica 」 🎶✨

It is true that there have been private reports. Her concerts have been canceled because of it. And yet, they didn't get divorced, They have mended their relationship and had a baby in April of this year. She was chosen to sing the theme song for the Japanese version of the Spiderman animated film. She is doing well now.
She has lost her voice in the past. In addition, she was supported by a cartoon character who was crushed by various painful experiences. That is the story of Rengoku Senjuro of Demon Slayer, who was in charge of the theme song. She is the character she loves the most. So, this song is written by a different composer who imitates a letter. It is like a requiem depicting the lyrics sent by Rengoku Senjuro to the protagonist and the hero's inner thoughts in response. It is a song of determination and promise to step forward with everything as fuel.

This song's have a lot of meaning to her she started wrinting it a few month after she's been cheated on (more than once) by her husband, Tatsuhisa Suzuki (and Yuki Kajiura who co-wrote and composed it have been a huge help to her). She decided to forgive him and stay with him for many reasons that i won't talk about here. I saw her live once and on many live videos, she cry almost every time she's perfoming this song.
