This is a criminally underrated band. Just saw them live in Cincinnati back in May and it was truly the best live band I have EVER seen.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. It reminded me of a proggier Billy Talent. There's this certain wail to the screams that are very reminiscent of them. Which is a good thing. I think that band is terribly underrated. Definitely some cool stuff happening behind the kit, too. These guys have been just on the cusp of my regular listening lately and I think they're finally going to be making their way into regular rotation. Their past few tracks have really caught my attention. Great analysis as always!

The song is about the strangeness of the word Spirits referencing alcohol and also referencing an ethereal presence. Both affect you starkly and many claim they both can force people to do things and behave in ways they never would. It's also about the idea that we'd label something that is literally poison with the same word we hold in holy reverence.

HELL YES I ONLY FOUND THEM RECENTLY!!! how have they not go more listeners?!? Honestly especially this track- its got everything i could ever want in a song! Freaking love this band now! Glad you check them out!!🤟

I think that was truly brilliant. The music really echoed the words of who I think we all are on the journey in some way.........."a little bit heavenly, a little bit sick.... "a little bit make believe a little bit true.....weeds in the garden, snakes in the soul" those last words at a time when you say there were "off beats on the hi hat.".......which I loved..... like the music had purpose for the message which I don't always feel when I listen to new music......it's my favorite kind of music....when the melody draws me into the message.....which I may or may not have gotten but I will look up these words and ponder them which is my way of saying thank you to the ones who created this.....and to you who brought it into my path..

I just came across this channel through the Nothing More Spirits song and immediately subscribed after i saw what other artist's songs you've reviewed. The videos are full of bands and songs that i absolutely love! Like: Nothing More, Architects, Imminence, Annisokay, Resolve, Falling in Reverse, LANDMVRKS, Memphis May Fire, Shinedown, Band-Maid, The Raven Age etc... Keep it up, I'm really enjoying the videos so far.
