I have listened to many musical groups but none of these groups can move me like the music of Supertramp. No group like Supertramp can vary in songs. From classical to pop to rock to Jazz. But above all a harmonic music full of various instruments. A unique group. Where many instruments become one. For me the greatest group

And, not only are they a group of incredible musicians writing and arranging incredible music, the unique pairing of Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson's (lead guitar here, but also plays keys on other songs) voices made them truly a genre of their own. Yes, they trade back and forth on lead, and sing and blend their voices together as if they were born to do so.

I still maintain that Bob Siebenberg is one of the most underrated 'rock' drummers of the 70's. Super creative parts, tasteful, not overly complicated and plays for the song, but if you listen to they aren't easy parts either. Just a great player.

There are three singers. Rick on the electric piano, Roger on guitar and John (Sax, whistles, and organ/keyboards). Roger also plays the piano & keyboards. They are all REAL musicians. I saw them in Seattle in 1979 it was the best damn concert I've ever been to. They were very different from all the other bands back then. Please check out "Child of Vision" Live in Paris 1979.

This is the audio from the album matched to the video from the TV show. I don't know why you'd do that, they sound awesome live. The lead singers are Rick Davies (here in white on keys) and Roger Hodgson (the guitarist). Each sings lead on the songs he writes, although they often do call-and-response things (it's one of their trademarks) which of course requires both.

For reasons I don't quite understand, there was an explosion of incredibly talented bands from the UK in the 60s and 70s. Being a talented musician is one thing, but writing songs everyone wants to hear puts you in an entirely different league.

Hello Corey, I thought I'd drop off some suggestions in case your interested. "George Thorogood - One Burbon, One Scotch, One Beer 7/5/1984 - Capitol Theatre (Official)' (by the channel: GeorgeThorogood on MV) --This song by George T. was originally written and recorded by Rudy Tombs in 1953, however, Thorogood released his version on his debut album called "George Thorogood & The Destroyers" released in 1977. George Thorogood is an American singer/songwriter and guitarist from Wilmington, Delaware. His high energy blues rock style of playing was very popular in the 80's along with his band "The Delaware Destroyers" often simply called "The Destroyers" their genre of music is mostly blues rock. Thorogood is a masterful blues guitarist. And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you. Thanks for sharing. peace out~
