I love how it all ties: she's immature and too emotional and dramatic, she's not "wife material", she doesn't wear heels in his fantasy of her in a wedding dress because he didn't like her wearing high heels, everyone laughs at her jokes except him because he never thought she was funny and I adore how after we got a previous lyric like "you said if we had been closer in age maybe it would've been fine", now we get her sitting at the kids table giving him the middle finger. In case it isn’t clear enough this is the continuation of the Jack G story. She’s talking about how he left her for image reasons (using the age excuse hence the kids table) but still thinks of her. It’s the same red scarf but neither it or her are really there he just keeps thinking he sees her.
