This album is so much better than what people think it is. The more I listen to it the more I hear. And the more I absolutely love it. It doesn’t have to be anything like they have done in the past. New is good different is better and fresh is great.This is all of it!.Saiki’s Vocals are absolutely phenomenal on this. Miku’s backing vocals as well.🫶🏼🤘🏼

I think the disappointment is honestly more to do with how many songs were released ahead of the album, making it less of a treat overall. At least that was mine (even though they also did that for Conqueror, and IIRC, World Domination), but I had basically just discovered Band-Maid with the album drop of Conqueror, and I expect most of the fans are similar or newer.... so we never really experienced it. Not saying that their aren't those complaining because it's not UnSeen World II, or other things. That said, I agree, it's a damn good album. First listen didn't immediately hook me like Play or Dice did, but I the more I listen the more I fall in love with it.

@@bishopsteiner7134 honestly. Didn’t do that for me at all. personally, I think the best songs were the ones we didn’t hear before the release date. but a lot of overseas bamds are doing that .especially with shorts. as long as I’m getting what I want. I’m happy.!👍🏼

I think if I can treat this album as just the 7 or 8 new songs, it would absolutely be better than unleash!!!!! and maybe even unseen world. The 2 anime tracks and 2 collab tracks in there kinda dilute the album for me. At least I still love protect you and shambles, but the 2 collab tracks are something i usually find myself skipping on a playlist.

This album is like Unleash and Unseen World. These albums require repeated listens to let your ears adjust to what they are doing with the songs. Imho, Unseen World is an incredible album, filled with progressive hard rock genius. Similarly with Unleash. It is 8 tracks of awesomeness, but the ears need to adjust. Just my opinion.

Thank you Alan. Been saying this was a metal riff since it dropped. Love it. Not as "heavy" overall as Rinne, but I'd say it fills a different "need" for me. And yeah, loving Misa's bass.

For me, it's their new "Screaming" or "Black Hole" - frantic song that sounds like a maëlstrom in the middle of a tornado. Organized chaos. My favorite song of the album (and there's no song I don't like on it!)..

I have a hard time picking out the different instruments and vocals during most Maids' songs, so Alan's separating the tracks out like this is fascinating.

In the last chorus, Miku goes from a high E to a high G. It causes a little ear bleeding...no big deal...Miku would probably say that's why she sang it that way,Po. 🤯

According to an interview I read, these songs were recorded over an extended period of time with different equipment, at different locations etc. So not surprising that there is less sonic consistency. Are you using Gaudio to split the stems?

I just hope these new Visa fees won't hurt Band-Maid future US tours. They are ridiculous, expensive, and are not beneficial traveling bands outside the US. They haven't changed since 2016 but already could have a chilling effect on future tour or newer bands. Band-Maid might be big enough now however. However, that is still a s*** ton of money to have to drop in one sitting. New Album is boss though and definitely growing on me with every play.
