This one is my favorite also. It hits me the same way Alan. Saiki is singing with such passion and feeling. It's like Miku's lyrics have a special meaning for her. And speaking of Miku, her harmonies and backing vocals are just beautiful. I can hear this song as a closer in a large arena. I hope they release an MV of "The one".

Saiki has the ability to transfer emotions thru her singing, it's a gift that she has. It's specially in the slow tempo songs where her beautiful voice brings forward the emotions from the lyrics. I've been crying for no reason on many occations listening to Band-Maid. Page, Forward, Daydreaming, Anemone, About us, Onset. Yes Kanami is able to do the same thru her playing. I love Band-Maid, thank you for reacting to the best music on the planet. While continuing listening my hair stood up on my head and arms, at the same spot were you got watery eyes 🙂The One is so well crafted, beautiful it is.

The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. I already love Forbidden Tale. The backstory of Saiki's lyrics and Kanami's composition are deep as hell! I can’t help noticing how not-brickwalled a lot of this song is. There’s still heavy compression but even when they went hot they didn’t go nuclear. And when you look at the individual tracks they look like real music. If they’re going to keep up this modern (loud) production style, this is what they should be aiming for. Compare this to (IIRC) Get to the top, where the drums are just fucking destroyed…
