Felix reminds me more of a crumper/locker with more joint control and explosive movements. He is great about pulling the strength to his middle/core of his body. While hyunjin brings in elements of interpretation/modern dance with fluidity and as they call it loosey-goosey style (yes that's what it's called). Like in his dance videos he knows how to use the full length of his arm and legs to create amazing lines. Lee know reminds me of a drum line style, persise, controlled, excellent isolation between areas of his body he wants to move.

Of course, they all dance excellently, but this time Chan, Seungmin and Minho simply attracted attention.

This choreography suits Lino's and Felix's dance style SOOOOO well, they ate that. But Felix especially killed me in this performance. I HAVE to rewind and appreciate his chorus part as least 3 times for my inner monk to be satisfied lmao

I'm so glad you talked about their different dance styles! As a dancer, one of my fav things about skz is they allow more freedom of expression within their choreography compared to some other groups, while still being perfectly in sync. Especially with danceracha being so diverse in their background/training with very distinct specialties. Hyunjin's style focuses on dynamics and contrast between fluidity-vs-power and often utilizes long lines ("snake" vibes). Lee know has a very strong background in old school hiphop crews so he's very technical with little or no extra flourish. He always does the choreo perfectly and EXACTLY as intended. Felix specializes in short, fast movements with complicated footwork and his upper body tends to be more upright which gives off that very straightforward feeling you talked about. That's not to say they can't do other styles of course, this is just what they gravitate towards/are most familiar with. As cool as it is sometimes to have a group of people doing the same choreo in the exact same way, you can't really pick up any real personality from it. I love that jype lets them show themselves in all their performances, instead of trying to get everyone to perfectly match and blend in.

Unless it’s AI created animation, no two ppl would dance the exact same way. I notice the individuality in SKZ members when they dance. They do synchronize but they also have own vibe and flavor. I always like to watch individual stage fan cam because they are different dancers.

Felix looks like a warrior elf when he dances and Hyunjin is actually soundwaves in a human suit, no real human can move like that. (Thats why he's paper thin lol) Chan and Seungmin also did the same part and managed to make it look and sound completely different. Its what SKZ do.

Stray Kids always have great Storytelling in their choreography. Formations, energy levels, highlight moments- they create pictures and emotions that relate to the meaning of the songs.

no dance bg here but i just love the way that seungmin goes the opposite way in his part “hit you like a truck imma make you flyyyyyy” 🤭 visually appealing

Not sure if you guys know or remember, but Felix mentioned before that he practiced taekwondo for 12 years when he lived in Australia, which clearly has influenced the way he dances, and even moves, to some extent. As someone who did ballet for a couple of years, muscular memory is a crazy thing, so I'm not surprised to see that his dance style is much more straightforward than Hyunjin’s, who doesn't have that background at all

This performance by Stray kids is really insane, the dancing is a little difficult, I admit, but I think you can catch the rhythm. For Stray kids we have to make some efforts, just like they do for us Stays

You guys can analyze choreo, too👍 One trait about Stray Kids is that it is like an idea lab that fosters creativity. In the beginning it’s just Chan. And then he added Han and Changbin. Because they self produce and Chan being respected by management, the atmosphere in the team has been nurturing. I bet each member would chip in ideas and thoughts about everything Stray Kids related. In the past 7 years I saw each member getting assured and authoritative when he talked about producing singing dancing and fan service. SKZ have help from outside talents like co-producers, arrangers, and choreographers. But they themselves made decisions. Perhaps this is why this team is so tight knit. This whole enterprise they put in sweat blood and tears to build.

In fact, Stray kids are dominating everything. Each time they return is a different surprise. This group never tires of surprising us. What will be Stray kids' new 'ERA' from now on?
