BxMxC is even better live . Just saw them in live amsterdam (for the second time in my life). Their live show is just perfect. They have lots of pyro, insane lighting and the crowd control is next level. Many moshpits and a deathwall created by just one gesture from Su. 10/10 experience. Oh and they have new outfits now which I think look super good.

Great reaction, thanks! Believe it or not this is like 1000 times better live. Honestly, they just kill it every time. I was skeptical with this studio version when it first came out because I'm picky about voice effects and things... But, as I said, the live version kicks ass. Hands down and lesson learned. 🤘🦊

Hell yeah guys, wonderful reaction as always. I do hope you guys check out the live version! Su’s vocals has heavy effects on the studio, but in the live, she does it all with her raw vocals, no effects. And, I’m sure you know, the Kami Band instrumentation hits way harder live. *Budokan 2021* is a great version if you wish to do a follow up reaction! Also, when you can, *Night Night Burn (Legend Metal Galaxy 2020).* get your dancing shoes on for some flamenco/salsa metal goodness lol. 🤘🦊

I love that you mentioned about the vocal doubling. A lot of people say that they use autotune for the MV. Although they use some autotune for stylistic effect like the "Be" during "Wanna, Wanna, Wanna, Be", they didn't use it for the vocals. They have always use harmonizing vocal doubling. Most of the time it is very subtle. But for this song, to fit the style, they made it quite apparent and made a cool chorus effect. BxMxC (Pronounced B.M.C) means "Babymetal Cypher". But fans also call it "Bring Moa Chicken" because Moa loves fried chicken and food in general. I have checked the playlist and based on the playlist, you haven't reacted to "Tales of The Destinies". So, that's my next suggestion: Babymetal - "Tales of The Destinies" Live at Tokyo Dome 2016. (This song has no MV and has only been performed live once). Enjoy! 🦊🤘🦊🤘🦊🤘

4:15 Reaction start BMC👉 Bring Moa Chicken 🦊🤘🍗 BxMxC (or just BMC, x is just a cool space bar like you noticed) probably means BabyMetal Cypher but fans like to have fun saying stand for Bring Moa Chicken, because Moa loves fried chicken 🍗 SuMetal is taking a real challenge with this new trap/rap metal song, she needed to find her flow and boi she can spit some bars and killing it on this one with the attitude. She actually rap since their very first song Doki Doki Morning but of course this one is on another level. The hip hop and rap elements are even more clear on songs like "Iine!" or "Onedari Daisakusen" way before this BxMxC song. The MV and album track got an auto-tune effect for artistic reasons but live is when SuMetal voice really shine without those effects and the girls with badass dance moves. This song was part of the setlist in this World Tour 2023/2024 in almost every concert. Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

As a hip hop/rap fan since the early 80s I was initially upset when I heard the audio for this song (before the video came out). First, too much autotune. 2nd, how are they going to perform this and not be cringe? 99.9% of the time a non-rapper raps, it ends up cringe as fck. Plus, we all know the girls are kawaii and dorky IRL. 3rd, why even make a rap metal song? Well, when they toured right after the album was released, they performed this song live in Brussels, I believe, and I saw the fan cam...I was BLOWN AWAY! It was heavy as fck, no autotune, it was dark, and the girls had SO MUCH attitude and swag that they could easily pull off a whole rap metal album. ZERO CRINGE! It was badass! And the reason why they did it is because SU-METAL CAN DO ANY FCKING GENRE!🤘🦊🤘

I have not taken time to load it into DAW and quantize it, but as a drummer with a pretty developed internal clock. . . .when Su goes acappela, it is in straight time (1/4note=75bpm I think) to the drop. . . . (it is deceptive because Su does actually slow her flow a little). Most of their stuff is all to click. Makes sense, they need to run the back tracks and the preprogrammed light cues live and all their stuff is written for the live! I thought Koba might have jumped the drop by a 1/32th note in post to create like a jump scare, but then I ran a metronome at 150 to check myself and it locks right in the whole track. Unless mistaken, the drop out is exactly 4 bars. So Su has feel! Perhaps her click is off during the break? That also creates the jump scare effect! 🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction - did anybody say anything about watching a live version yet?😁How about BxMxC meaning Bring Moa Chicken?🍗 They used a custom 9 string guitar when this was recorded (there may have been a quick shot of it in the video too).🎸 I have 'borrowed' this information (again) - "They talked about 'BxMxC' in an interview. SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that. But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget! MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall? SU-METAL: Uh…what was it… KOBAMETAL (who happened to be there): Flow? SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind."

Now they will tell you here what it is " Bring Moa Chicken", but it`s a joke... BxMxC - well, it`s written there (at the beginning of the clip): "(B)aby (M)etal (C)ypher" (mean Rap Battle)
@rickwagner-6 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean. What's written at the beginning of the clip is "The Tenkaichi Metal Budokai", which means "The Number One Under Heaven Metal Martial Arts Association." We do see "metal cypher" at the top of the "su-metal vs. teki-na" and the "Moa-metal vs. teki-na teki-na" screens. Su sings 'tekina metaru cypher" (metal cypher like), but never actually sings "BABYMETAL Cypher" in this song, and I don't see it written anywhere. I would agree that the title almost certainly means "BABYMETAL Cypher" (or "BABYMETAL Metal Cypher")
@user-Andriy_Solodky6 ай бұрын
@@rickwagner- Rick, so come on!... Google the keywords "rap battle" or "rap cypher" and you will understand. Or type "rapper reacts to BMC" and in the comments all these different people immediately catch the association of what this style of performance is about. This is such a genre in music. When two rappers do such a singing competition. And in this music video (song), Su-Metal confronts a conditional opponent who claims that there is no place for metal in rap. And Su, like this - "Seriously"?! - "Well, then hold my ginger tea"... Kitsune up, dude.🤘

About the holdouts... One of the funniest things is the rebellious metal head that's a stickler to genre classifications with zero sense of irony. I think some people that have trouble fitting in get their identities tied up in a certain type of music and they are lashing out at things that threaten to change it. It's silly because music always moves and changes with time, but I think they are too close to it to realize that whatever they love is an evolution of something else before it. Their loss. They'll eventually come around.
