Very creative content. You have a fantastic voice. 🦊 🖖❤ Question. Who was the artist who took 1st place in the Amuse contest. Do you know what she does now?
@lencooke9444 ай бұрын
@@IAMisLove I wonder if it was Moa who came first. The reason I am wondering this is that in this video (and also in Cryptic Misery's guide) it is said that Su came second in a 2007 "contest" and Moa came first in an "audition" in 2007, that were held by AMUSE. I am curious if this was the same contest/audition? I could be way off in my thinking; however, it does seem a bit of a coincidence. I would love to know who came first as well as they must have been outstanding to fend Su off for first place.

Excellent! I really appreciate it. Very spot on pointing out how they had to perform several small gigs. Now it's unthinkable but I've seen some footage of them playing in a shopping mall. Some people think they are a "manufactured industry product" and that they started just as big as we know them now. But the fact is that they have earned everything with great effort, dedication and giving up many things in the process. About the Download 2015, Andy Copping (the festival's promoter) banned them and the fact is that he never got over it. He apparently has some personal issue with them. He even admitted that the festival booked them in the following years just because he's not the only one in charge of booking the artists. By the way, today they performed with some incredible new costumes. And congrats on getting your tickets. This is a quite a win for us. 😁 🤘🦊

One of the best reactions to this guide imo! Not many people mention that they didn't just appear with a huge budget on the biggest stages, but had to grind just like every other band. Yes, they were created by a producer and as a bit of a gamble. If they hadn't caught on, Amuse more than likely would have shut it down. So they didn't meet in a dingy rehearsal room over beers and forming mostly to get boys or become rich, but imo they were and are just as dedicated as conventionally formed groups. If not more, since they were only guaranteed a somewhat uphill battle bc of metal elitist and so on. Thankfully they persevered and are to Me the only exciting group in metal 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

Well i guess you got all the answers in the comments already lol Anyway totally agree with your train of thought and what you said about the girls how hard working they were since the very first years when there was no such huge recognition and needed the minimal spotlight to reach more people and fans, that's why sometimes we get mad when someone try to disrespect the girls and all the things they have done to get there as a living legends. Now to be part of The One you just need to watch that song dedicated to all of us, but fair warning The One is just the second part of another song that was split in two parts, it's called Tales Of The Destinies and it was performed only one time live at Tokyo Dome 2016, so that would be the perfect double reaction with TOTD first and after that The One live at Tokyo Dome 2016, look for Babymetal Reactor Resources to get both clip with watermarked logo for the upload and clean version in the description for you to enjoy. See you next time and keep enjoying more BM songs.🦊🤘🔥

Momoko is the perfect addition to the group. I love her kazoo cover on that reality show and how straight she played such a goofy performance. Metalverse was at Fox Fest (is there an underscore in the festival's title?) and I believe they were back to a three piece group. They were backed by Asterism, an extremely highly-skilled trio of young musicians that was instrumental but has started incorporating vocals in their original music. I can't recommend them enough. "Church," "Stars," and "Gunfire" are good songs to start with them if you're interested.

Thanks for doing this. And glad you got a ticket ! These girls, ladies now of Babymetal, and the producer are part of the talent agency. In Japan there are still many companies with long time 'life time' employees, so the company invests in there talent. And thus Babymetal is still part of that company. Think of this agency like a modeling agency, if you need a model you ask a modeling agency, you give them a profile of the kind of person you need and they will give you suggestions. This works similar, but these talents are much broader, many of them actually started as kids models. For example Suzuka and Momoko were both in (not the same) musical, Yui was a child actress. They all have done commercials as kids. The company employs them, but they obviously don't always have work for them and thus the company can develop projects of themselves. Sakura Gakuin is kind of like that, and I don't know if this is true but read it somewhere, that SG is for girls at an age when companies are just not that interested in hiring talent at that age. So SG are the most talented girls of the company (that don't already have existing projects, some actually did other projects while in SG as well later on). They function like an idol J-Pop group, but they do activities like some acting and live streaming, etc. Which gives them experience and they sell tickets, sell albums, merch, etc. which is a good way to fund this training venture. Sadly SG ended a year or so after the pandemic. Because of the big impact in the entertainment industry they probably needed to do re-structuring/re-evaluate/re-think what they are actually doing, ROI, etc. so now they are not doing as much in public, but still part of some training systems which work with them more on an individual basis. SG was really cool, because they put the girls under limited pressure to perform, thus 'battle harden' them, but also this creates a strong bound between them. Which was really great to see how they got friendships, etc. We still see tweets, etc. sometimes of them getting together and doing things. For example 1 recently released a video of 2 of them going on a picnic together. It's a bit of nothingburger, but also very nostalgic for those who have been following them closely. 15:50 personally I think she means back to acting, as she was a child actress and that was her original dream in entertainment, but who knows, we've not seen her back in any spotlights. 17:40 'planned' is a word I would not choose, it seems to have been more an idea, a wish. At first he wasn't allowed to do this idea too, because the reason he was in the kids department is because bands music like rock/metal, etc. were not in the charts at the time. So no use investing into those genres. The choreography started out as a collaboration between 'Kobametal' and 'Mikikometal' based on what the girls already did. An example is: when Babymetal was going to record the song Headbanger, Yui and Moa during singing in the studio to the lyrics 'with her black hair' would hold their twin tails, thus Mikiko would integrate this in the final choreography. Koba tried with all his might to always include and integrate anything from the girls as naturally as possible. 20:30 strictly speaking, we are all The One, including the Babymetal staff and those on stage. Which is a distiction, but an important one. :-) 20:59 Yes, April Fools is part of the culture in many western countries, they are probably aware. But Babymetal often does things with a wink. But an other internal to them important reason is actually pretty simple, in Japan the fiscal year starts on April 1st (it matches the Sakura Cherry Blossom season). 21:47 I would say, this could also be more naunced, SG in general and other sub-groups of SG did get more funding than Babymetal, why ? Because the company didn't want to put money into an idea which had such a high risk of failure (because of low popularity of metal music at the time). 29:33 their popularity and the how 'metallic' the second album was, was just to hard to deny/ignore. 31:22 actually, I do believe it was actually Yui who said: please perform, the fans are waiting and we all know how important this performance is to Suzuka/Su-metal. 34:26 they also recently finally were able to perform it live, it was at the first festival organized by Babymetal in Japan: FOX_FEST 36:07 I can tell you, Babymetal cancelled a lot of shows in 2020 and Kobametal in those years wasn't sure if Babymetal would ever tour again, because so many of the staff of Babymetal quit the touring part of the music industry (Babymetal did pay some what to help keep them afloat), but many who do touring are all self-employed. And with a limited number of people in the industry prices of these staff skyrocketted. 37:43 this was planned before covid (maybe even before Yui left), take a deserved break after 10 years (most of that 10 years, they were also still in regular school). 42:41 update: they are back to 3 now. And performed at FOX_FEST with an amazing young instrumental group: Asterism from Japan, who are actually also signed to Amuse, kind of like a label or management company.

I would recommend "The Unhelpful Guide To...." Generaly, it gets panned by The One as the maker was somewhat PC, but it goes into SG and especially, our beloved Yui, in much greater depth. You will find, that once get enough BM performances under belt (You need to get cracking:), there are dozens and dozens of SG vids to explore (and quite a few of Su before she joined SG) and they are just great.

It has an absolute ton of misinformation, and is created by someone who notoriously hates men, and is on record stating men should not be allowed to like BABYMETAL. The entire video is literally filled with hating on the fanbase. CrypticMisery created his original guide a few years ago to specifically counter that pos of a guide.

@@draculus666 I am not going to go through the whole video, but just within the first part it says Sakura Gakuin meant to be an idol school, it was not, it also says BM continued to only perform at SG events after their debut for a few years, they did not as they were performing at non-SG events almost immediately afterward. Also, the guide is responsible for the Yui "best dancer meme", and that was proven awhile ago that she was always off timing by a heart beat with Moa and Su. The video also states that Yui decided to become an idol after watching Karen's Girls, she did not. She was already an idol. This video specifically started this misinformation among the fanbase who continues to to repeat it. In fact, this guide is responsible for a good amount of fake information that has spread throughout the BM community. There is also a section in there about blaming Koba for the non-announcement for the first US show without Yui and abandoning Su and Moa is hilariously ironic considering we found out later from their interviews it was likely a decision on the part of Su and Moa (and others on the team) on the lack of announcement because they were scared.
