I have the same strat and the story of how I got it is about the same! Walked into Guitar Center for strings and picks and walked out with this guitar. I changed the pickups to Seymour Duncans Classic Stacks and put Fender Locking Tuners on it. Still my favorite guitar to play.
Jeff Beck style playing at the beginning sounded brilliant!

Yer so right, a lot of acoustic guitars do feel differently than electrics. I got a Washburn EA 20 and that's an acoustic guitar that really gives me the feelin' like I'm playin' an electric guitar. My dad has a vintage Martin D28. It's tone sounds cool but the feel is way different from my EA 20.

Every time I watch your videos I look for the keeley bubbletron in the display of pedals. I want one of them sooooooooooooo badly. I read that it was modeled after Frank Zappa's phase type sounds in the 70s (for example the guitar solo in Inca Roads) and he is my biggest inspiration when it comes to music in general. One day I'll actually buy one of them.

Great room I wonder what the formula for the area to foam is for the sound damping. I agree that Danny 84 Strat kicked the other 2s butt in some areas amd held it's own in all. For sure a viable option when looking for a Strat style guitar. I sure want one and they should give you the credit for turning ears to it
@slavesforging53616 жыл бұрын
I don't think there is a specific formula like that. the pros take sound measurements from dozens of points, then analyze them, then create custom treatment based on the room analysis. but homemade rockwool corner traps and a reflection free zone around were you sit when you mix is always good. anything more than that is more room specific. oh, and get your monitors at least a about a foot away from the wall behind them.

Start by investing some money in ONE good effect pedal for the effect you use the most. For other effects, pick up some JOYO pedals. They aren't perfect and they look kind of gross, but they're cheap enough to experiment with to find other stuff you like.
