@@LynnNelson . There may have been some overlap with JC’s activity between albums, but research shows him to have been an official Baby’s member in 1979 and he left them in 1980, joining Journey. He is reported to have been on the Union Jacks and On the Edge albums. If you read his Wikipedia bio, he is an absolutely fascinating individual. He survived a tragic school fire as an eight year old ( 92 students and 3 nuns perished). He certainly is the full on part of the magic of Bad English though…Such talented and good people! I agree this song makes me emotional as well. But I wonder why. I guess it does have a basic sadness in the key/chords. Lost love? I don't really think about the lyrics at all when I hear it. It's a very hopeful and uplifting song, not sad at all... but maybe just the intensity of the emotion catapults us back to our youth when it was being played... amazing how that works.

@@brianperry4713 Thanks for the words, Brian. Sincere, kind words of sympathy (hopefully not empathy, though) help ease the pain quite a bit - more than you can imagine. I just miss Scottie so much. He had such a difficult life, and he just kept on going. Spend as MUCH time with your siblings as possible. Then go spend a little MORE time with them. Even just sitting around, watching TV, eating a snack. Anything. I cannot imagine ANYTHING worth more than that. PLEASE go see your siblings as soon as you can. I would give everything up, just to have some more time with my little brother. Losing a sibling is the family loss that is most often overlooked. This type of loss is one of the most painful there is. Your sibling is your partner for your entire lives. Until they are no longer with us.

Like I said big Family Mom side gave us kids 16 first cousins. Parents even named 1 Brother Patrick, named another JAMES. Both Mom & Dad had IRISH names O'GRADY - KELLY. 2 sisters took IRISH Dance lessons. In grade School the girls told me my IRISH Freckels were cute. In IRELAND Freckels are called ANGEL KISSES. Crazy being IRISH & never drinking Alcohol. IRISH EYES ARE SMILING. KISS ME IM IRISH. ERIN GO BRAGH means IRELAND FOREVER. For some reason IRISH Skin burns easily in the sun. They say that's how we get our Freckels from the sun. Freckels are all over our body not just the face. They also say IRISH are more tolerant to pain. Its also true they drink there Beer in IRELAND warm. They also say Red Hair IRISH girls are extra feisty in the bedroom. They also say boys don't like Red Hair girls. Those are IRISH MYTHS. Sorry Im just crazy about my IRISH HERITAGE. Not lying about 16 cousins
