I was a teacher for 31 years... Your videos are like a course to me- Thorough and concise. You anticipate everything the learner does not know, and you connect it in ways to make it easy to grasp- In the educational world we call that "scaffolding." In the world of DAWs this is an extremely rare quality. Most video-creating guys know the DAWs inside and out, but they can't put themselves in the students' shoes to teach them effectively. You are a gifted teacher- Thanks for sharing your gift!

You have, hands down, the best Logic Pro X tutorials i've seen on the internet in my last 3 weeks of searching for information. I've learned more in 40 minutes than i did all those weeks. Sub'd, liked, you'll be getting my views for sure. Job exceptionally well done and i thank you for the help!

Imma say it here!! Your tutorials are so informations and you answer the questions before people have to come in the comments and ask again because the video didn’t solve what it said or inform me on what it said it would. I am an upcoming artist and I wanna know what I’m doing. It’s great to just follow the feeling of the music and see where you go but you also have to know where to go in the software to make the sound you want. To put it in a nut shell!! You make great tutorials

This video helped me out so much, man! I've been trying to figure out how to replace the basic sounds in the piano roll with a WAV but your video opened my eyes to creating my own drums in Ultrabeat instead and it also cut my drum sequencing time in half. You rule, dude!

Thank you, Ive recently saved up and bought an iMac, mainly for my paintings & Artwork and to make music, which I'm a complete novice, I did use reason 5 on my PC, for a few months, I was going to save up for Reason 8, but Changed my mind and bought Pro logic. Ive got to check all your vids, But found this easy to follow. Thank you for your time. I know and got the latest update for logic, with the brush tool etc and house drummers, but think its important to learn all the features of this software, new and old. Cheers again, Ive always wanted to make music when acid house and the rave scene hit the UK massively but with my artwork and the expense of music hardware back then. It wasn't to recent that I found I could try. Also Thanks to people such as yourself who give your time to make these vids for beginners such as myself. Thanks..

Fascinating plugin and a terrific tutorial. The only negative I feel compelled to raise is not a criticism of MTHG's efforts but rather an indictment of the entire digital music realm for failing to accurately reflect triple time signatures and triplet rhythms. "Swing feel" is not a substitute for real triplets. That said, MTHG's Logic Pro X video tutorial series is incredible. Bravo!!!
@MusicTechHelpGuy9 жыл бұрын
Trevor Burt You can set the resolution to 1/12 which is 8th note triplets, or 1/24 which is 16th note triplets. So it changes the grid on the UB to a triplet feel. Although, you can't mix straight and triplet feel in the same groove, at least from the UB sequencer. You can do it in the piano roll editor though.

Your video tutorials are amazing. They have helped me tremendously. There is one area that I am having a lot of trouble in. Can you please make an in-depth tutorial on how to properly master a track, how the buses, bus lines and aux work, and how to properly bring out the sound you want, especially once the track is bounced. Every time I burn my song on to a CD to hear it out, the volumes and sounds are different and low.
