Hey, Josh. You can also configure that the upper half of regions is the pointer tool and the lower half automatically is the marquee tool. I'm not sure if you did mention that in the video...

fantastic stuff ! followed you for years , a wealth of information here , im holding off on the whole series until i update logic pro x to the latest version when i get a new machine hopefully later in the year when apple get their finger out ! also can you do something on using a track pad instead of a mouse ?
