Switching any company depends on many factors. Important to think is, Is your company good? If your company is good and it is growing then you should remain here for a longer period to get the best promotions. This year promotions across board are dried up. So chances are that you are feeling down because of that. But when the market picks up the same company will give a better promotion if your company overall is good. So decide after taking a lot of things into account. Also if you feel your performance is not good then no matter where you go that will remain. So first focus on building your capabilities in such a way that you perform well rest will automatically follow.
