My Kids I Luv Them totally understand what you are saying and I don’t know the young lady to say what she is or isn’t. The reason why people don't know about new music is because there are no mainstream platforms for r&b. Tom & Kyle's _You Know I Got Soul_ website is the only place to get the skinny on new releases. Even w/ the Internet right at fans' fingertips, they still don't get it. You're of my generation, Musiq and we're getting older. We have other engagements. Sucks for you, but hell, times done changed. You have all those fans following you on social media, but you can only sell 1,000 copies of an album (if that much). You have roughly 700,000 followers on social media and you mean to tell me that don't nobody know you done made a double album? Something's not adding up, Musiq (no pun intended). For black artists in yo' age range, new music is iffy. After so many of our favorite artists letting us down over the years, we done got fed up. Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, D'Angelo, just to name a few, done released the worst albums to date. This is anecdotal evidence as to why we'd prefer to hear the old stuff. In other words, don't nobody wanna hear new music so just sing _Halfcrazy_ and keep it movin'. And it's as simple as that, Musiq.
