Musk Criticizes Reform UK's Farage, Endorses Tommy Robinson, Attacks Labour

Elon Musk appears to have turned on Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage, the right-wing populist and friend of US President-elect Donald Trump he previously supported. The billionaire’s repudiation of Farage follows days of attacks against UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who he accused of being “complicit in the rape of Britain” for his actions as the country’s chief prosecutor during a child sex abuse scandal. Separately, Musk called for far-right activist Tommy Robinson to be released from prison. Bloomberg's Lizzy Burden reports.

For a career politician like Farage, TR is repulsive because he doesn’t have Nigel’s breading or family name. Yet, he can attract over 100,000 to a rally. Trump and Musk can plainly see that. Given Trump has 34 felony convictions, TR’s legal history (lawfare) is of no concern. As Americans we are more egalitarian, but TR has passion and charisma that is extraordinary. If Musk backs TR, that will slowly shape and alter the right’s perception. TR could be a true political player in due course. Farage and Tice want total control over Reform UK. Fine for them. I can see a TR and Habib forming their own party and forcing Nigel and Reform to work with them.
