bought one with same problem branded a4 mixer. i took it apart and added copper screening because it also had a lot of digital noise from the bt section. its now usable for recording to usb from condenser mic as long as bass is right down and a very good power supply is used. i wanted it for recording separate audio for my video work. another problem is the unit uses a 7805 voltage regulator and these don't do anything but create noise unless input power is 3v above design output. so feeding with 5v usb is terrible. the chip needs to be bypassed or a seperate 9v power socket be added to the rear panel. the sound card problem really stumped me though. a few seconds perfect recording, then a few seconds terrible distortion, then a few more seconds good... whats really strange is that if you use the mixer as a headphone out playing from pc, audio is clear. also monitoring a recording is clear, mic to mixer, usb to pc, pc usb to mixer sound path. so if digital monitoring works, good audio is going into the computer. so why the computer wont record it? i suspect the distortion is aliasing and caused by a messy clock signal. really suspect the chip that drives the 7 segment display combined with incorrect implementation of the 7805 voltage regulator. I hear digital glitches in time with the led display changing digits during record and playback. if anyone has a logic analyser to hook it up to, we might get the answer. i agree with the comments that its just a copied product, or chip manufacturers application notes circuit but they tried to use a cheaper clone chip, and also slightly repurpose the circuit without fully understanding how it works. its usually very hard to get copies of chinese chip application notes, or even track down the manufacturer. designs are shared between many companies of differing expertise. like the tongji watch movements, they can range from awesome, to dogpoo. but the design is the same. great ideology in manufacturing thanks to chairman mao but ruined by the work ethic of individuals and the greed for a fast buck. they work much better under fear of death. if anyone can find notes on the chips, or circuit, i will be happy to look through it and publish solutions.

you can record directly from mixer using sd card or usb. its much clearer and no distortion.

@@larrymarcoagad8624 Once you inserted a USB drive and press the Play button, it will record the inputs po automatically, even without computer. Magrecord po siya directly as usb.

I had the same problem. I called the company and they said you cannot record directly to the computer through the USB cable. You must record to the USB thumb drive or connect your computer to one of the audio out puts.

I think they did something wrong or used the wrong chip in the circuit bc exactly the same design under another company's name works well. Its simple audio performance is also weak. release this waste product and buy another eg that I linked.

the muslady al 4 has a problem i tried two from different seller,s both distorted on audio recording apps i bought two of teyun a4 both work perfect maybe engineering design problem on muslady al 4 but works on headphone out or audio out as other,s has said with 3.5 mm male to dual rca males or 3.5mm male to 3.5 mm male to line in on pc sound card

Use the RCA output "REC" and connect in MIC INPUT in the computer. Don't connect muslady in usb/PC. Use the power supply. Sorry my English.

I am just buying this to use it as a training tool I am unfamiliar with mixers and I rather use a cheep one with little money to start out and then go up and buy big Like the road Pro mixer $699

Mine does exactly the same noise with condenser mic ! That plastic mixer is real crap. I'll keep searching a solution anyway.

It s ok to just record guitar. I have Ableton and Adobe Audition but s issue remains d same with this plastic box mixer. It s ok for general works but not DW stuff
