Alhamdulillah I'm so glad to see other Muslims recognise the seriousness of this issue. Have men totally lost ghira for their wives? And not just that, they're unintentionally turning them into commodities to gain more followers or more views on social media. It's really shocking to think Muslims who many consider "role models" are blatantly defying Allah's laws in the name of spreading Dawah and promoting an Islamic lifestyle. We need more discussion on this topic. Jazakallah Khair Zaid.

A good Muslim (even more so a da3i) has to respect and make other muslims respect fhe rules of Islam and he has to be discreet about the women of his life (his mother, his wife, his daughter, his sister). That's the least he can do. In my humble opinion, it's not good to show his personal life and his wife to the world. A Muslim woman should to wear the hijab properly (khimar, the nikab is not obligatory) recommended by Allah. Only Allah knows her possibilities. But showing her hair, chest, her feet wearing tight clothes, pants, men's clothes is formally forbidden in Islam.

May Allaah preserve you. You spoke the truth on this video. Some words you put out are in the minds of a lot of Muslims. However, not many discuss these topics thinking they will be labled negative names. I hope Allah protects you as well brother. Lot of Muslims start of sincere but change as time goes by. Having fame and creating a big name for your self is a test from Allah. Sadly, a huge number of Muslims lose track after some months or years. They either speak about topics of Islam which they don't have correct knowledge on or they start to commit open public sins which will be on record for a long time. Even if we decide to take off a video which we find problematic, some may have already downloaded it before we take it down. Imagine some random man will now have access to our wives and daughters pictures or videos. ولا حول ولا قوه الا بالله العلي العظيم We should all watch what we say and do especially if we have a 📷 in front of our faces. Lastly, May Allah give victory to Islam and the Muslims ☝ اللهم اعز الاسلام والمسلمين واذل الشرك والمشركين ودمر اعداء الدين وانصر عبادك المواحدين

I would share this but if girls struggle to lower their gaze, i may receive sin for sharing this. I encourage this brother to find a way to promote the quran and sunnah through perhaps adjusting the camera or something. Many scholars dont understand that women may struggle to lower their gaze. I am not saying it's haram to show your face but people of taqwa will not do this. This is a great video but can be ironic as the brother says to not show the wife while the girls may struggle to lower their gaze. بارك الله فيك

Show me any piece of evidence from the Quran or sunnah that any of the prophets hid their faces while doing dawah. The prophets were all very handsome and beautiful and were always out in public talking and giving dawah to men, women, young and old. What you're basically saying is that just because a man has some kind of handsomeness to them then they're not allowed to do dawah in public, yet if someone is ugly it would be fine? What kind of logic is this. No daleel in islam for this and Infact it doesn't make sense. Men are allowed to appear in public and have not been commanded to cover up, women have been commanded to cover up. There's a huge difference. Please bring evidence next time. May Allah Bless You

@@Zaidesbaidmay i ask if a man is very handsome can he cause impure thoughts in women? How to deal with it? Should they also cover themselves?
@absarh2036
@absarh2036 7 ай бұрын
Thank you for replying my brother. My evidence is as follows. Firstly, my claim is not that prophets hid their faces when giving dawah, so insha allah i hope that's clear. The hadith which i would like to bring to light involves the mother of the believers aisha. She was commanded to veil herself from a blind man. The issue is, sharing this video with women may result in an adverse effect as people cannot really lower their gaze from a video. Im sure u dont need reference for that as allah commanded women to lower their gaze in the quran. Sharing this video with men is appropriate. On a side note, picture taking is haram according to the scholars i follow (of animate things), and by extension video taking is disliked but i cant say it's haram (this is the opinion of sheikh Ibrahim, a local scholar of bangladesh which u cant really find online) . In conclusion, peophets of the past did not cover their faces for dawah but at the same time they did not have their faces drawn/recorded for others to see. Sharing your video with sisters doesn't really give them a chance to lower their gaze. In my humble opinion. Im a nobody but i figured my thoughts can benefit others. Here's the hadith where the prophet commanded his women to lower their gaze. Umm Salamah reported: While we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, Ibn Maktum was given permission to enter. He entered and that was after the command to veil. The Prophet said, “Veil yourselves from him.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, is he not blind? He cannot see or recognize us.” The Prophet said, “Are you blind such that you cannot see him?”

@@absarh2036 this is not evidence and with all due respect just shows a lack of fiqh. I asked kindly, give me just 1 piece of evidence from Quran and Hadith that commands men to not show themselves in public when doing dawah (which is one of the most illogical things I've ever heard and make no sense). If you do not have any daleel then please do not follow your desires. The Quran and Hadith are clear on this as is the lives of the prophets and sahaba. None of them hid because they were handsome.

Alhamdulillah. I keep saying that if you are teaching about hijab as a lady, then you shouldn't be online exposing yourself. It can be done faceless. Men and women watching will fall for the husband or wife. Then, there are those individuals who want to put on an act of being extra bubbly, etc, to get likes. What is private should remain private. When displaying your looks, life, happiness, lifestyle, etc, you are going to invite jealousy and sihr. Both the male and female will open themselves up to hatred, obsessions, abuse, stalking and sexual harassment. There is a reason why Muslims are told not to expose themselves whether physically, their voices, their worth, their plans, etc. It's for your own protection. Unfortunately, a lot of Muslims don't understand the concept of Haya, Sharam and Hijab.

@Fortifier1021 that comment says more about you than it does about me. I merely poked fun at someone's clumsily phrased comment in order to gently question this person's message, but you chose to demean, as many commenters of this video have. Constructive criticism is legitimate, but encouragement is far superior. That means dawah without seeking to humiliate others, something that I have not seen here. Some people don't even bother watching Couples and now they'll deliberately look at those women to then shame them in their dms. A Woman is not someone's responsibility. She's a person. Y'all infantilise women, it makes me sick . and if you think her presence alone makes it a sin, then it's about time y'all delete your social media accounts.

Salaam sister, I am also a Muslim sister and I thought I’d respond to you to see if you’d be willing to hear it from a woman ( I know ppl nowadays don’t do too well with men giving them naseeha). This brother did NOT mention anyone by name and was given general advice completely from the Qur’aan and Sunnah of our Prophet (saw). It is waajib on us (as brothers & sisters in Islaam) to be of those who يأمرون الى المعروف وينهون عن المنكر that Allaah swt mentions in the Qur’aan. When our prophet Muhammad (saw) was doing dawah privately behind closed doors, Allaah swt ordered him to do it publicly and share the message loud and proud. If you listened to brother Zaid, he made mention of how the sister wasn’t wearing proper Hijaab he did NOT say her presence is a sin. One thing we Muslim woman should PRIDE ourselves in is that our Deen allows us to give dawah whilst counterpart Abrahmic faiths say a woman should not speak when there’s a man, should not take part in there version of Dawah, and that she should go bald to not display that beauty. Like he said Islam is wasad and not even the slightest in extreme compared to those. Also, noticed your name is often given to girls in the region I come from…so if you need me to relay this message to you in your native tongue I’m more than willing. May Allaah swt bless you.

@@xxxooo336the way the message is interpreted matters. There are Non Muslim women now who are running away from Reverting and actually worried for us after seeing these podcasts and questioning how Is it ever okay. And about the Hijab, covering your entire self to the point of covering one's identity as SOMEONE'S WIFE because some men see the opportunity to sexualize Muslim woman?! Like? I'm not even pointing at anyone but this sudden uproar for a Woman's Hijab is just too much. The more they'll emphasize it and make it about themselves, the more women will try to revolutionise. Alot of Muslim Women on social media speak on taboo topics. And some men decides that Women around the world should just create a private group. That's how entitled some of them are. On top of that, you'll have men saying you shouldn't even be on Social media no matter how much you've covered. Are we not allowed to have a Space?

@@asianbreed3990 women wear makeup for themselves. Sometimes it's so subtle that it hardly looks like makeup. That's why I'm saying. Why you're putting too much emphasis on it. You don't see women going to Men's Social media and telling them to cover themselves. We see a cute couple on Social media and just see a Couple. Why does men have the right to specifically call out how the Wife is wearing makeup or showing her Pregnancy. How a husband is "Displaying" his wife? That's called Audacity and Entitlement which has nothing to do with how a person is dressed.

Yeah cuz the word is khimar Allah says: “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [al-Ahzab 33:59] remember if you deny the "hijab" then you are out of the fold of islam as it is in multiple quranic verses and prophetic hadiths

It's not about other men seeing a woman. I am surprised how women justify wearing jeans. Even though there are hadiths from the Prophet (saw) telling companions that there will come a time when women will be clothed but naked. It refers to this kind of clothing. If you leave wearing jeans bcoz other men watch you and the husband gets angry however you should be more concerned about why it is prohibited as per Islamic ruling the prophet gave in this hadith.
