My opinion of him changed somewhat after that recording tbh. I believe he's still a slippery power chasing individual. But at the same time I don't think he's as sinister as most think/as he appears. I think he's trying to play a game like Yasar Arafat did when he agreed to the Oslo accords. Ie he's trying to get in the inside, make himself an indispensable partner and gradually change things. I’d rather watch an interesting discussion on 5pillars than put iPlayer on, so it’s good to cover all bases and entertain, inform and educate. If you made a documentary, no one would criticise. I think it’s noble to be able to holda conversation with someone with opposing views and control the conversation to educate your audience. Thank you

Yes, it’s important to engage with individuals from diverse perspectives - this essentially is allowing us to gain a better grasp of their ideas and viewpoints (of the gears turning in their minds). It’s quite fascinating to watch controversial issues discussed in a civil, respectful environment, without being too confrontational (we are fortunate to have Speakers Corner for the ‘other’ kind of discussions to unfold, amusing and educating us). Having Murray on the show? Absolutely not. Where there’s clear hostility and mean-spiritedness, I can’t imagine a positive interaction taking place until the other party approaches us humbly and on level playing field. Lovely, lighthearted show. Thoroughly enjoyed. Continue the good work!

I recognise that the intended feel of this show is to be light-hearted and informal, but it can border on the buffoonish and narcissistic (as occurred particularly towards the end). You have the rival candidate, dressed formally, to the incumbent Labour MP in Tower Hamlets on your show (and an important lawyer and activist too), and you leave him there in large parts sitting in silence or asked flippant questions. There were so many important matters that could have been discussed. A wasted opportunity.
