Omg cathy😍😍😍 its like u paid for an experience rather than just a tour. I think the Japanese were really on to a brilliant idea, literally all their castles look soo divine . And soo picturesque i loved the ninja part. And seeing Cathy struggle to walk in the dress was a nice bit of humour . ❤❤ Each vid Cathy does is sooo good , because its funny, entertaining and just a nice little bit of culture or scenery ❤❤ ❤❤❤❤

Oh my god, now I really wish I’d visited Wakayama when I travelled to Osaka earlier this year... the whole experience seems totally worth it! Wakayama castle looks so beautiful and peaceful as well, sad I only went to Osaka castle which was also interesting but bustling with people.

That looked like a lot of fun. Hard to walk in heavy princess outfit explains the need for palanquins. Yes, the ninja attack was like watching a little samurai film, but usually the princesses are a little more stoic.

Do they have kimono for large or overweight tourists? I tried to go to a festival in America to rent one and they didn't have one large enough for me. It took me months to order one big enough online and even then they were very few to choose from.

I love how the people thought that this was a wedding! And this video was beautiful, the outfit looked so nice and I am amazed you managed to walk around in this the whole time! It must have been so exhausting. You surely felt weightless like a feather after getting rid of all these layers, right? XD But I am surprised they allowed you to walk around in these clothes - they seemed to be so expensive. Did you get a special permission to walk around the garden with the princess outfit? I assumed you can only try this on in the "dressing room" but that´s it
@AskJapanese6 жыл бұрын
The kimono is really heavy(Cathy says)!! And yes, she jumped a few times she got off the kimono lol. If you join the tour (link in the info), you can wear the kimono and go around whole area in wakayama castle^^

Ted Ehioghae ritual suicide was totally a thing in feudal Japan, particularly for the noble classes, instead of the famous seppuku that men would do, a woman would commit Jigai, which was cutting the jugular vein with a small knife.
