I really like your man-on-the-street vibe complete with visible lavalier mic, unscripted lines with honest opinions, and outtakes (“…and it’s closed!”) mixed with your higher-than-expected production values like background music and technical wipe-cuts. Bravo!

Since Greg asked how to wash his own dishes in the dim sum restaurant, the correct way is to pour the hot boiling water or left over tea in his small bowl because everything will be sanitize there. I would usually start with the tea cup roll it all around in and out. After that I can finalized rinsing with chopstick and spoon together. Then dump the water into that neon green plastic bowl.

Welcome to Hong Kong, and thank you for your sharing. Glad that you enjoyed the food.☺However, Cha can ting(Putonghua) is usually called Cha Chaan Tang (Cantonese) in Hong Kong. Although both of them are same in written chinese, which is 茶餐廳, it is better to pronouns it Cha Chaan Tang, since Cantonese is the common language in HK.

For future videos, can you do some unique seafood such as abalone and sea cucumber? On some of the other islands you can pick your own seafood, and the restaurants will cook them for you. You can get abalone congee which is a awesome flavor. In the USA, you can get abalone siu mai dim sum, scallop siu mai and sea cucumber dumplings in the dim sum restaurants. If you can, please show some unique dim sum items in your future videos. The Tim Ho Wan Restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii have abalone on a half shell as dim sum items which is awesome 🤩. Your Mandarin is excellent. I am so glad to see a Caucasian person speak Mandarin so well.

I feel I have a mission… I am so sad that they closed Goji , that was always my go place for good and healthy meal ( it was a gym club … but just went to the canteen there 😅) Great video 🎉

It's quite a selling point but to most westerners, it's just breakfast. It's more interesting to see him try things like the different dim sum places. He found one of the traditional ones. He ought to try some of the local chains. Like Maxim or Doh Heung. And maybe some of the hotel ones too... Which pushes the dim sum boundaries with new styles etc. Same with some of the noodle places and congee places too... better ingredients and different styles.

Yup, and there it is. In a previous video, you were struggling to identify some of the items you'd ordered. Two months later, now you're proficient in navigating through the menu like a local...tourist. The steamed chicken rice would have been the highlight of my visit to any Chinese restaurant, but you said it was plain, and nothing special. I was filled with dismay upon hearing this. To me, it's all about the fat from the skin that melts into the rice. (childhood memories of my mom's cooking).
