@@HeartwayFarms I was literally shocked at your total price !! You got a LOT of great things !! I’ve spent a lot there and there’s only two of us (most of the time). I belong to Sam’s Club AND Costco, which probably is a splurge. I do like the flour option you chose which Sam’s does not offer. I thought the meat prices were pretty high at Costco last time I looked. I didn’t however check the chicken breast prices. I’m headed to a local meat market for the chicken breast to can for the pantry. Their price is $1.59 per lb. which is the lowest I’ve seen. Also you have to remember this is all healthy clean organic stuff! Which are very expensive so it’s not bad for great food ! Not junk! I buy all that stuff not as much as you but all that great organic stuff!we been doing raw apple cider vinegar in water every day cosco has a two bottle deal!coconut oil, decent grain free granola bars,grass fed collagen powder,Avocado oil, grass fed butter, organic berries, eggs,grass fed burgers, grain free crackers, raw honey,as far as healthy food Cosco for sure!Sams is good for certain fruits are good and bulk chicken.

We have both Costco and Sam’s club memberships. We used Sam’s club a ton when we lived in the south and now that we’re on the west coast we use Costco more. Love Sam’s for their sales and snack selection, along with their spices. Not a ton of organic and gluten free selection though. I also LOVE that Sam’s had the scan and go on the app. It helps keep you in budget and you skip the lines! I also love that’s Sam’s has free shipping online and free pickup for Plus members. Love Costco for all the things. Wish they had scan and go and I wish it weren’t so hectic all the time. I keep my phone calculator going with my running total so I stay in budget or else I’d wayy overspend at Costco. The gas station line is absurd. So I avoid that. We love the organic and gluten free options at Costco. The meats are great. Produce is priced well. Got 4 new tires on my car and saved a few hundred $$ And we get all our vitamins and supplements there too. Overall both places has its perks!

I recently did a huge price comparison between Costco and azure on organic things we purchase, many many things were cheaper at Costco, some significantly like 50%, frozen berries, frozen veggies, canned tomato products, brown rice, and bone broth, I still Azure and will buy certain things from them to support them, but definitely will be price comparing.

Those noodles you picked up are the bomb, and Costco definitely has the best price for them. I will buy them 10 at a time and put them away. We use them for Asian meals, and as spaghetti.

I shop at Costco all the time. The flour that you picked up is awesome. I love their organic frozen cherries. Delicious! The Kirkland grass fed butter from new Zealand is excellent. Sugar bomb tomatoes great for fresh salads. I have found that the produce is ok but you really need to watch for things that go bad. Love your channel. ❤️

Hello! I'm definitely a Costco fan. Primarily because they have more organic choices and healthier options. I also have a Sam's Club membership because they are more conveniently located for us. I also wanted to share - there is a KZbin channel called FlavCity. He is also a HUGE Costco fan - but Bobby has done an amazing job of teaching me how to read labels and how to find cleaner and healthier products @ Costco, ALDI, Whole Foods and other shopping stores. He also created an app - you scan an item and he will tell you if it's an approved item and if not, why. I think you would find his channel very informative! Thank you for you channel! I am so glad to see someone on utube not doing the pantry challenge. I like watching the pantry challenge but also know for me it is not possible when I can for a year or more. I personally don’t want to run out of tomatoes and still have to wait 5 months for them to grow and get ripe again. Anne I love how you are real and do your best to keep it healthy but also understand that you have a budget. I'm amazed you guys don't have a food dehydrator. We bought one for 200ish and love it. We dehydrate apples for apple chips and also make jerky using chicken breast marinated..but with food prices probably won't be enjoying jerky anytime soon

Costco. Frozen organic fruit and vegetables (selection is limited but the quality is superb). Vanilla beans. Butter, they have grass fed and organic options. Canned fish. Some cheeses, the Kirkland parmesan is amazing. Maple syrup. I also love Azure, but I think folks forget to factor shipping and gas into the cost of Azure items. I use my Azure orders for things that I cannot walk into a store and buy.

Costco America is a lot cheaper then Australia, i mean $300 or a little over is really, really good you truely did a good haul. I have a question you live on acreage i was surprised you dont have orange, mandarin and lemon trees, especially lemon? I live on a 500sq and i have two lemon trees. I squeeze the lemon and place them in an ice cube and freeze them. The lemon trees that i have are four seasons so I never run out. I have truely enjoyed watching your videos your a beautiful family and great parents 👌♥️

One thing I like to get from Costco is the 5 pound bags of frozen veggies and can them. Corn, Peas and green beans. Also watch there organic fair trade cocoa powder. They will put that on sale and it’s a really good price.

Costco 100% of the time! We love their little new potatoes, grapes, big bags of organic carrots, and sweet kale salad kits for a great convenience item. We also like the frozen Jones chicken sausage for a quick breakfast meat on busy mornings and the Jones uncured Canadian bacon. I get my organic cane sugar, monk fruit and organic flour there also! I too love Azure but some prices are better at Costco. We also buy our organic milk there- raw milk is illegal in NJ, so unless we take a 1.5 hour road trip to a farm in PA, we can’t get raw milk here.

Here we have Costco, Sams, and BJs for warehouse stores. I used to have BJs but moved further away from it so we let it lapse. Last year we needed tires and hubby comparison shopped. Sams was cheaper by a long shot, and with a promotion they had at the time, we got a store credit for the amount of the membership, so we were able to get the membership for free. That said, I have not been impressed at all with their selection or prices. We have been there several times *trying* to find something to buy. I bought Ziploc bags, fish oil supplements, nuts, and fish. I bought a couple clothing items, but they were nothing spectacular. I'm tempted to make the switch to Costco, but like you guys find that the people who are the biggest fans of Costco are the ones buying mostly processed foods. Sounds like you thought it might be worth the membership, but the question is how many times will you go, especially with it being not close... btw, did I miss you saying how far you had to go? I'm 30-40 mins from any of the warehouse stores.

We live 90 miles from the closest Costco and Sams. Sams has FREE shipping and Costco does not. So for shelf stable items, cleaning and paper products, etc. I order from Sams. Huge savings for us considering gas prices. On the rare occasion we are in Fargo or then I go into the store. Otherwise pick up our groceries locally or at Wal-Mart. The closest Wal-Mart is 40 miles away. We are truly rural!! :)

I have both a Costco and Sam's membership. Sam's is 7 miles away. Costco is 30 miles away. So I gave up the Costco card because it is a higher membership and so much further away. My favorite is Costco.

Freeze Dryers are expensive, but ww took the plunge and invested in one recently. The fruit is amazing, and easy to do. Store bought FD fruit is very expensive, so I'm always glad now to think, I can do that myself and don't have to buy it!

I shop at Sam’s due to shortage of Costco Warehouses. I live in Arkansas. Until July 2022, we were 1 of 5 states without any Costco’s. The first one held their grand opening July, 2022 in Little Rock which is 100 miles away from me. I think a few more have opened here now. But Sam’s is in my hometown so that is handy for me. Where I live in Northern BC Our closet grocery store is two hours away and thankfully it’s Costco. We only go to town every second month so we do the majority of our food shopping there. I love it. That mayo was pretty grosse. Just fyi. The garlic stuffed olives r yummy. The dried mangoes r some of our fav but since we got our freeze dryer I much prefer our freeze dried fruit. That lemon juice is the best. U have to know your prices of stuff. There r very good deals at Costco but they r not always better prices. I luv luv luv Costco Let us know how u like the mayo. We go to both Sam's and Costco. There are just a few things that I like at both that you can't get at the other place. I do feel like we shop more at Costco than Sam's club. Our families purchase many of the same items. One thing I like at Costco are the probiotics and I just look for them when they are on sale. Ivnever buy their homemade or premade food. We cook a lot at home and the cost for the premade just seems ridiculous. I do like that Costco carries the half gallons of half-and-half and heavy cream. I'm not a fan of the members mark brand for those things. My one complaint about Costco is that it seems like their bananas are always already very ripe. I can usually green bananas at Sam's club. We're a military family and sent to SE Cali. I got a Costco membership this last year because they had organic produce and other organic food options more so than the other options to shop around here. I think my Costco may be smaller or maybe the area just doesn't call for all those things you got but some of the stuff you got I haven't seen here. Also sometimes they seem to be out of certain things for a while. Ive got their organic bone broth but I'm sure homemade is better. I learned how to can/pressure can but left my canner back home with family because I knew we weren't going to be canning a bunch knowing we'll be moving again in 3-4 years. So for now we make it work with what we can buy and just do our best, like you, to buy best options that we can afford. Kind of like the good, better best idea. I just started with Azure. I will be ordering from them again. I agree that it's good to shop around and definitely snag up deals when you find them especially for good quality foods. We tried Costcos dog food and my dogs hair started falling out in clumps so we switched back. We don't have a lot of freezer space here and we lose power a lot so we don't go super crazy with stuff in the freezer but also most of the Costco frozen pre-made stuff wouldn't fit in my freezer anyway but a lot of the time it's not the healthiest stuff anyway. I generally buy the organic produce. (But not all. Some even the non organic cost more than the other stores in town.) Organic milk, organic eggs, cheese(might be switching that all over to Azure though) pomegranate juice, acai berry juice or the frozen one, organic frozen fruit and greens mix for making smoothies, dunkin donuts coffee when it goes on sale, chips, veggie straws, pistachios, organic pasta, organic lemonade(my son LOVES it). They had organic Kirkland spaghetti/marinara sauce when I first joined in March and I bought it once and then it disappeared.

Costco is our choice over Sams and quality of food is better. I was once a Walmart manager & Sams was all we had. We as a family use Costco over Sams all the time. If you compare prescriptions Costco is a winner.

Okay let me tell you about that lemon juice get is the best lemon juice for canning! It also makes really really good lemon curd if I can't get May or lemon that is what I use. The flavor keeps well when I'm preserving it and the acidity is constant which is something I really appreciate about it.

Sadly we don't have a Costco in our area so Sam's is the only option I have. You are right about the organic products, not that many at Sam's. They don't have the avocado mayonnaise, only the unhealthy version. I mainly use them for bulk things like bathroom tissue and paper towels and trash bags. I do buy some meats but not many. I would love to have a Costco here in my part of NC.

I prefer Costco over Sams Club. The last 2 times I shopped Sams, we ended up with 2 cooked chickens (they were raw in the middle), I got my money back. And my son wanted a box of honey ham lunch meat for work, he ended up with food poisioning. Costco has a better variety overall compared to Sams Club. My secret to shopping, go by myself! When the guys come with they seem to find things not on the list.

That lemon juice is the BESTTTTTT and our favorite item at costco! It lasts its all organic and has over 10,000 lemons in it! I put it in my water 24/7! Amazing and the best!

We love Costco, especially the organic flour and sugar. It takes a little over an hour to get to the one nearest us, so it takes some planning, but very worth it

Love the organic flour! Last time I was there I bought organic lemons and dehydrated them , I use that in my water. But. I love that lemon juice, pistachios are great too and coffee is always a good deal!

Canning increases the flavor of most spices. So best not to season the item like you would if you were eating it fresh.

We recently got a Costco membership and love it but we also have to be very careful because it’s SO easy for us to overspend there! We love the deals on prepared snacks, flour, pasta sauce, CHEESE!, paper products and household goods so far. Also gas and the hot dog stand makes for a cheap quick lunch…but a health food, but ok for once in a while!

That is the problem with Costco. Lol. I never get out of there under $100. I love their bulk deals. We but the canned albacore and chicken every time we go. Which is once a month. Costco is our big grocery haul for the month.

We belong to both , there are things I like about both stores . Our youngest son has stomach issues and prefers Costco for the organic and gluten free options he needs
