Hi Christian, the side steps look as good today as the day I installed them. No chips or anything. They have certainly been smacked by trail brush and stood up to me standing in them. I suspect they will outlast my Jeep. The Jeep has been transformed so new videos will be coming soon. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽😃

@Nick. These steps are simply AMAZING. I have actually been wondering if a dual set will fit on the front doors as well. I can’t imagine having any of the other brands I was originally considering. Worth every penny invested. Thanks for watching 😀

Seeing you unscrew the second bolt almost gave me a heart attack. I thought you had stripped it. I would hammer the bit only and let the force transfer directly straight to the sockets. When your rachet has a swivel head on top of an extension or an adaptor, the physics will do weird things to partially dissipate the energy and the direction of the force. But I love how you use tapes to further secure the doors. Never thought about that before. One question for the hinge step, I don't see anything to secure the steps when folded up. Are they magnetic or spring-loaded? Do they rattle or come loose when off-roading? Definitely want to check the brand out. It is a very innovative design with 2 steps in one.

@liu23usc. U are right all that force moving around when I hammered on it. Yeah I think I remember feeling a lump in my throat doing those …. Just my luck to strip something. Lol. The steps have a lil spring loaded ball bearing that helps hold them in place when in the up position. They are a rock solid build for sure. Never once flipped down when on a trail. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽

@@elandmotors8845 Much appreciated! Thanks for the explanation of the hinge step. Just checked their website. I thought the hinges were secured by friction only. Keep up with the good content for our off-road community. Subscribed!

@@elandmotors8845 awesome. I just got the body armour ones and they're HEFTYY but I want that second step, so I might move the BA ones to the front door and use the dual step on the rear. I'm also super impressed you found the internal hard shell support system (besides the backbone) that I had never seen before... I went super outta my way and got the first Yakima Ribcage installed in the US a few days ago, it's awesome, but maybe overkill..

@@xamxcott sounds like you have a killer jeep. Love to see it one day. Yeah I’m thinking of getting another set of dual steps for the front doors to help with my no handed balance when setting up the tent. I’m hoping to make new videos soon. Been down with a hand surgery for awhile. 🙏🏽
