Dude, I saw 3 boxes of accessories and I put the video on pause, changed into something comfortable and turned on some Barry White to see you unveil your new kit. Very nice.

Hi Chris. Your panniers are cool. One doesn't need any more space than that whilst travelling around in the Philippines in my opinion. For everyone's benefit: - Even your summer motorcycle jacket that you use in Europe or America is too thick for the Philippines. I brought mine with me but had to get rid of it because it is just too hot here in PH. If you definitely need protection, best to buy standalone knee and elbow protectors with elastic straps here as they are very cheap. I bought them but never used. I am sure everyone would laugh at me in the traffic if I wore them. No one cares about safe riding here in PH. People ride scooters and even motorcycles with flip-flops. - Motorcycle boots: You will have difficulty finding your size here if you are bigger than size 10 British or size 12 US. - Helmets: If you are a little bit big headed like me, you will need size XXL or larger here. Not easy to find but possible in Cebu city. - Riding: Cebu city and its 20 miles radius is chock-a-block most of the day. Driving or riding is a pain in the neck ! If you are a motor-head, stay away from the Cebu city as it is a terrible place to ride or drive. Other places in the Philippines are fine. I agree with Chris that Philipinnes is a great place for a motorcycle enthusiast. The roads and the traffic are quite challenging at times in PH but that makes it all the more fun.

One of the things that stopped me from buying a bike in February was sourcing accessories for it. I also wanted the top box and panniers, and a windshield, since I planned on touring with the bike. Since then I've met someone who works for a major bike retailer, and he knows how to find the accessories for the Kawasaki Eliminator 450 I've wanted. He also has some personal bikes in the 400+cc range that he would sell to me for a better price than I can get from a dealer. We'll see in about 6 weeks, toward the end of the rainy season 🤔🌧 Nice upgrades, Chris 👍

Love the accessories but not a fan of zippers as they wear out and can be easily manipulated. All it takes is a pen or a screw driver to puncture through and unzip the side bags. Maybe get a larger rear locking box to accommodate two helmets. (Hind site and arm chair quarterbacking here.. Sorry.) Still a cool rack system. Never thought about a tank bag before. Will enjoy seeing its utilization. Your add ons really make your bike resemble a touring model but still sporty. Congratulations Bro!
@CarefreeChris5 ай бұрын
Yeah. I'm excited for the versatility now. Good point on the zippers. Might be replacing them in a year or two I guess.

Looking good Chris! I have the OEM panniers on my Himalayan, but everything else is aftermarket. I have a Nelson-Rigg tank bag that is like to yours with the clear window. One thing I discovered with a similar Givi bag I used on my RE 350 in Thailand was if I had my phone in the clear section the sun cooked it. I have no idea why they still make that style with the clear window, nobody uses paper maps anymore. You didn't mention it, what's the verdict on your fork seals, are the ok?
@CarefreeChris5 ай бұрын
That makes sense with the phone. I have a bar mount that i'm using so I'll just probably continue to use that anyway. As far as the fork seals I asked Motology and they're going to order the parts and go ahead and replace them.

Yeah, there’s a problem with that front right for seal which I’m just gonna have the guys over there fix it just so I know it’s done properly.
