@@jordanmckchicken3865 Running at top speed, stride length is roughly 1.15 times the athlete's height, so for a 180cm player each sprinting step is about 2 metres. Of course you will take some shorter steps to change direction etc but generally if a player runs 15 steps they have gone way over 15 metres.

As an umpire of SANFL U18 football, the quarters that are observed are 26 minutes flat (barring a major injury in which a stretcher is run onto the ground), with no time on. That is why the clock does not stop, as there is no time on in U18 football

Notice that hard tackle at 0:03? #17 brings #19 to the ground hard on his right shoulder,. Then he strikes his face with his left hand, well after the ball has popped away. (You might need .25 playback speed to see it.) Then #17 slams #19's head back down again as he's starting to get up, using his right hand on his neck, all before #17 gets the ball for a kick. And this is in an under 18 competition.

I just took another look. #17 Hayden Young then puts both hands on #19's back as he boosts himself up, keeping him prone on the ground for a while longer. The physical harassment worked. #19 is slow to get up, clearly stunned, as he awkwardly gets to his feet. Young makes a great kick, boosted in knowing he really owned #19 Taylor.

@@steve1regkind of crazy watching this knowing they were both in the afl 1 year later both representing different parts of the country from where they were from original. If Taylor didn't get cut and Young didn't hurt his ankle last year than we very well could have seen them go at each other again since taylor is a forward and young a defender
