Why don't you do a a 24-hour Russian ration in three separate meals
@karlsmith25704 жыл бұрын
I've always found these MRE's videos really interesting, especially with all the different types of things that are in them depending on which country's military they're from, as well as which era these MRE's were commonly used

It is not really a large ration, considering it was designed for mountain warfare/operations. In training or combat, you burn a lot of calories, more so for mountain or cold weather operations.

Juice from the beef into kawa to moisten it up.. perfect combo too. Fantastic ration. TY for sharing.

This is a absolute monster of a ration. Great Job with presentation and showing everything! Great Review!!! Glad you had all the mains and none were taken. I started a event called "No Main Can't complain" for those who have lost there mains.

I don’t understand why US MRE heaters don’t work like other countries. Or even the civilian FRH heaters from places like XMRE or AllMRE, those FHR heaters are just like these Russian ones. They actually boil water. Why are the heaters we give OUR troops SUCK!?

Hello my friend! Very good review and nice ration. I think I'm reviewed the same in the wild

I remember which is which wipe by green is for the green spoons. The Mountain ration is my favorite Russian ration (or perhaps the Winter which is similar), maybe of all rations, so much meat and hearty food. Great they finally went to pouches and FRHs. Those FRH bags in this ration always seem to tear open poorly. I like to heat the sausage and the ground meat is just chopped Tushonka to me.

You've convinced me. Just ordered one exactly like this. This is like the Russian IRP I bought once but on steroids. Three times the price, four times the stuff and in retort pouches. This will be great fuel for a day outside with a friend.

Thanks man. A person needs a lot of calories during mountain warfare. It is a struggle to breath on mountains. Haleakala on Maui is the highest place I have been .

@rickwestom58044 жыл бұрын
The "r"is Russian for "g" means grams 350 grams ,about 11 ounces in real world
@Your.Uncle.AngMoh4 жыл бұрын
"Looks like a turd". I laughed out loud. My neighbours must think I'm nuts. (They don't think, they KNOW!) 250г is 250g in English= 250 grams or a little over half a pound. That luncheon meat is called "farsh" in Russian, which is basically minced meat with some spices used for sausages and in bird stuffing. каша гречневая- kasha grechnevaya- is buckwheat porridge (gluten-free, kiddies!) каша рисовая- kasha risovaya- is rice porridge (not "piss" anything!) каша перловая- kasha perlovaya- is pearl barley porridge. A brute of a ration. I suppose if you're patrolling in the freezing Russian countryside you'd burn up the caloric content of that meal. Does it say what the total energy count is? Probably 16,000-17,000 KJ or 3,800-4,000 KCal. Have you looked online to order your own stash of that Maiskii chai yet?

You know, back in Stalin's era that would be a 7 day ration! Good to see the Russians are finally feeding their troops.
@CyarleyBlack3 жыл бұрын
I'm russian and it sounds insulting. There has been enough food for troopers since WW2. Also particularly, Soviet Union has been starving during WW2 because USA didn't want to open the second front. Despite this, all food supplies went to the front, for soldiers. Civilians preferred to starve but do everything for victory in that war. What a shame to hear your pathetic stereotypes in modern times. I wish you better think about that and how you introduce your own homeland to foreigners through these comments. Have a good day.
