Davenport, Iowa in Scott County is my hometown, and I encountered, and witnessed far too much corruption there. However, I have no clue how it is today being that I moved elsewhere about 25 years ago. I see some news stories from time to time regarding crime in the Quad-Cities, and considering it appears to be far worse than it was while I was there, I can only imagine that the government corruption has expanded as well. Almost seems like there is a correlation between citizen corruption (street criminals), and governmental corruption. I wonder if anyone has ever looked at the data and statistics regarding that, and if the data illustrates any correlation, direct, or indirect.

It doesn’t help that the 8th circuit court of appeals has not followed suit with all other court of appeals. I have recently filmed the sherries threatening arrest at the courthouse and have the city attorney on a recorded call not knowing what crime I would be charged with except trespass. After I informed him that was a secondary charge he was so flustered he actually said I would be charged with entering courthouse with an illegal device. I asked him when cell phones became illegal to possess he said he never said they were illegal. I am about to start my channel cause the corruption in small town Iowa is thru the roof. Have you ever heard that Iowa is an acronym for "Idiots Out Walking Around". These idiots couldn't get anything right if they tried. Judges and Attorney's don't even know the laws anymore. I have been dealing with it for several years and can tell you firsthand that they don't care about your rights, nor do they care about the law and that's assuming they knew the law to begin with. Go sit in the gallery of several courtrooms at the courthouses downtown and you will see that they are actively read and interpret the laws on the fly mid hearing and often judges will not even issue a ruling at that hearing and opt to go back to their private chambers to review the laws and issue a ruling. People aren't even entering their pleas in court out here. I could go on forever with the issues of this state and I can even provide documented evidence. There is simply way to much corruption in this state. Im surprised that these State Patrol officers did as well as they did but its hit or miss especially with Des Moines Police but i am sure it helps to have them on video and be recording them because if you don't they just walk all over you.

The camera man was defensive and confrontational in his approach. When Sharon asked why she was being recorded his response was a question about whether or not it was a public place. You shouldn't assume everyone knows that you have a right to record in a public place. There's a more respectful way to conduct yourself. Basic manners and treating people with respect goes a long way. He could have conducted himself in a more professional manner. He called her a Karen, he was cutting off other people when they were talking. Nothing wrong with standing up for the constitution and people's rights, but you could conduct yourself in a better manner. Just some constructive criticism take it or leave it.
