Some halal packages have used those thin silver-colored packages and the products in them have not lasted over time. I have one such halal MRE on the shelf that still has those silver-colored packages inside. BTW, it's a nice change to have even some of the patriotic cookies intact for once.

Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...Yes, I think I got lucky with the condition of the sugar cookies. If they were more smashed I would have emptied them into the pudding to make a sort of crumble or cobbler style desert....ATB...Mick

Hey there Mick :) Is that a humanitarian ration or is the military using clear plastic wraps now? Seems odd that they have sugar but no tea or coffee. The pudding reminded me of Angel Delight. A flash back to my childhood in the 70s lol. Great review as always Mick :)

Hi Christine...Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you are keeping well....This is military issue but for some reason they have always been clear wrapped? Pudding very much like Banana Angel Delight (but more brown than brighter yellow). One of my Favourite Sunday afternoon teas, also back in the 70's, along with boxed (ready to make) Birds trifle.😋...ATB....Mick

Never had warm pudding here in the U.S. always cold or room temp. The Adobe mix is a new one I have never seen before. Adobe reminds me of a mud brick used in building homes. Maybe southwest mix would be a better name. Have a great week !

Hi Scott...Thanks for watching and commenting. Pudding, One of the huge differences between US and British foods. We would probably call this type a mousse with UK puddings often containing a flavoured baked or steamed sponge (pound cake) with jam, chocolate, toffee, caramel (or some other sweet mixture) served hot with custard or cream. 😋...ATB...Mick

Very nice my friend. Halal I have tried, Kosher, I have not yet. My meal contained lamb as well, just different menu. All of the normal sides come into play. If not stale, no problems Mick. Some of the items in these meals, do not hold up well? Patriotic cookies are usually crumbs. Yours are better than most, I assure you. The main seems debatable? Yes, it looks like another meal, I am not fond of. Hopefully you survived another one of our meals? As always, stay safe, and I hope you are well Brother. Peace, John. P.S., LOL , My home state of Kentucky here, is one of the major producers of Lamb. I never tried before my Halal ration. I now fix lamb burgers. The bell, is the Liberty Bell, historic significance here. Historic item and story. Peace once again. John.

Hi John...Thanks for watching and commenting...Hope you are keeping well?....Overall not a bad meal. The mains were very lacking on Lamb and mediocre tasting but eatable. Liberty Bell!...Yes, I'll have to google the significance in relation to the states...keep you and yours safe my friend...ATB...Mick

I've seen that main and was curious. Doesn't look very appetizing. The ration needed a bread component at least too. Is this your weekly review (on Sat.) or is it a bonus?
@MichaelGreenReviews8 ай бұрын
Hi Mark... Thanks for watching and commenting...Agreed, not the most appetizing, but not inedible....Lol...No, not a bonus video. I upload videos a few weeks in advance and tell KZbin the time and date to release them. Something went a little bit wrong with this one? either myself or KZbin made a bit of a blunder with the release time with todays video? should have been my regular Sunday release ..lol...ATB...Mick

Interesting rationale, surprised to sugar but no coffee or tea. BTW it’s not creole, it’s chole Nicely done Michael.

Hi.....Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, the sugar was a little pointless? Thanks for the correct pronunciation 👍 I was certain I was saying it incorrectly but didn't know the correct term. It is not a dish we have here in the UK....ATB...Mick

Everything looked delicious I see more spinach and no lamb
@MichaelGreenReviews8 ай бұрын
Hi...Thanks for watching and commenting...Overall not a bad combination but like you say, very lacking in Lamb. Similar look and texture to the old spinach fettuccine from the regular US MRE's ....ATB...Mick

I'd enjoy seeing a kosher MRE. Because we all know kosher and halal are literally the same.

Hi..Thanks for watching and commenting...Please check out some of my older videos..I reviewed a US kosher ration about 5 months ago. They are pretty similar as you suggest and neither are as good as regular US mre's. Which is a shame as all serving US troops should be respected and cared for equally regardless of religious beliefs....ATB..Mick

Corn nuts, no, sorry, just nasty. Could taste the “screech’ through my phone. Looked a good ration but perhaps not. As ever, thanks.

Hi.....Thanks for watching and commenting....lol...I suppose they are like the UK's marmite....you either love them or hate them!. I had never eaten corn nuggets until I started eating US rations and find I quite like them now. I prefer the BBQ corn nuggets, often found with the "chicken chunks white cooked" menus but these were tasty too...well, I thought so...lol... the rest of the meal was quite sugar heavy so they also helped by adding some more savoury to the sweet....each to our own...lol...ATB...Mick
