At Dot’s Restaurant in Wilmington, everyone’s family. For 40 years, Dot’s has been a gathering place for the community, serving up food that reminds you of what grandma used to make- hearty, healthy and fresh. In 2011 when Tropical Storm Irene devastated the town, the community banded together to rebuild the restaurant, proving that Wilmington is, The Town That Would Not Let Its Diner Die.

I had a home in WILMINGTON for 16 years, I was there during the FLOODS of 2011=I MISS VERMONT...

Several yrs. Ago before the flood i was hired to put a new roof on the Viking motel. We went to Dots almost every night what a great place with the nicest people, they really made us feel welcome. I remember looking over the side of the bridge and thinking that looks like a great spot to fish, when i heard about the flood a couple of yrs. Later it was hard to believe the amount of water that had to come through the town. I was happy to hear that the locals stepped up to save this great place.

Living in that town and being an amazing community, i love dots, been to it quite a few times, gotten take out, been eating there, went there last summer with my friend and she absolutely loved the place, the people are amazing and being able to live amongst a close community is just amazing, i love the town and i love the people, especially people at the Maple Leaf Tavern and Dots, Any people from outside of Wilmington should definitely visit the place,
