Does this pie crust turn out crispy and crumbly? I always worry about the gf ones being too dry or tough. Also, never understood why people core apples this way XD There's always so much apple left on the core! Nevertheless, the pie looked absolutely fantastic. I love the concept of adding a crispy sweet topping as that's how my mum used to make it when I was a kid :D Sweet but tangy, crispy, but soft...just the perfect pie!

What is the crust's texture supposed to be like? I couldn't roll the crust because it was too sticky but I also used tapioca starch instead. I added much more tapioca starch so it wouldn't stick and I could eventually spread it on the pan. My crust turned out like raw flour 😆 but the taste was on point

i love that the pie crust didn’t have butter! it’s so hard to find recipes like this one. i don’t have/use almond flour; is there a substitute i could use, maybe oat flour? regular ap flour? i have the rest of the ingredients, just not almond flour
