Hello Mary, I enjoyed watching this ... AGAIN! LOL I'm thinking just how much I Need the 'package sealer' thing!! Tried making this type for my son-in-law last week but it really seemed 'Too Wimpy'! So I ended up putting a Full PC of patterned paper behind the happy b-day, hopefully it gets to him in one piece. I'll try to remember to let you know! Thanks again for All the FUN we Had! Don't forget to Have Fun with your FAMILY!! 😁😆🥰👍💙

Hi Mary!!! What a fun birthday shaker card. I use a hot tool that has the point to seal my plastic it’s so easy because it melts which cuts at the same time. TFS!!! Hugs. Gloria 🧡

Love that I think I know what you're referencing. I used to have ton, they are great

I have one of those too. Besides cutting and sealing, you can use a metal ruler and run the tool down the side of the ruler and get the exact size you need

Gorgeous card 🥰! I’m so bummed I missed your shaker class. I’ll have to do the replay which isn’t as much fun because you aren’t their live and you are such a joy to watch live 😊!! I need to pick the bundle because your mixed media class was so informative and fun.

That is a great shaker card. I seal the edges with good old fashion scotch tape, I apply half long ways and then just fold over. I do that a lot with some funky packaging I want to keep things in and don't want it to rip.

Are you sure your frame was 1/4 inch? It looks like 1/2 inch.
@marypolancodesigns2 күн бұрын
I just rechecked and nope, it's not exactly 1/4 inch, it's about 2 mm longer. It's exactly 1cm though if that helps. Great eye!
@wendymckain45122 күн бұрын
@marypolancodesigns 1 cm ~0 .4 inch. My husband gripes about the metric system. I'm a math teacher and I love it. The definition n of an inch is 2.54 cm. We're too stubborn to adopt the metric system, but our measurements are based on it. Sorry for the rant. Whether 1/4 or 0.4, I like the width of the frame.

@@wendymckain4512 yup I taught math, too, maybe that’s why I had to know. So let’s all use I cm and our international friends will be happy.
