Bangalore food scene is vibrant and varied. From traditional South Indian breakfasts to sizzling platters, the city has it all for a great cafe hopping experience. Explore these culinary hotspots to enjoy the best of Bengaluru's flavors.
I am a food lover and food exploration has always been one of my favourite activities. I visited Bengaluru and enquired about the best dining experiences, best food spots as well as the must try foods.
Kobe Sizzlers in Indiranagar offers a unique dining experience with its sizzling platters. Each sizzler is served hot with an array of sides and sauces. The menu has options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. I loved their Exotic Veg Sizzler.
Bengali food enthusiasts should not miss Esplanade in Indiranagar. This 15 year old restaurant serves authentic Bengali dishes like fish curry, fish fry, green peas kachori and rasgulla. It brings the flavors of Kolkata to Bengaluru. I had Aloo Phulkopir Choto Singara, Choto Aloor Dum, Phulkopir Dalna, Koraishutir Kachori, Loochi and Ice cream Sandesh and Aam Pora Sharbat.
For lovers of spicy Andhra food, Nagarjuna Restaurant in Indiranagar is the place to be. Their biryanis are legendary, packed with bold flavors and spices. Their authentic Andhra meal is a must try and I complied.
The Rameshwaram Cafe in Indiranagar is a top spot for authentic South Indian cuisine especially Karnataka cuisine.. Here, you can enjoy delicious dosas, idlis, and vadas. At the Bengaluru Rameshwaram cafe, I enjoyed their Ghee Pudi Masala Dosa and Ghee Pudi Idly.
In Koramangala, Dyu Art Cafe combines food with art. This cafe is known for its cozy atmosphere and creative menu. Try their famous banoffee pie, which is a favorite among dessert lovers. They also serve pizzas prepared without using cheese. I tried their popular main course Vegetable Ala King and Vegetable Stroganoff.
Another gem in Koramangala is The Hole In The Wall Cafe. It is popular for its hearty breakfasts and brunches. From pancakes to burgers, this cafe offers a variety of comfort foods. I tried their popular Black Forest Waffles and filter coffee.
