I watched doctor strange in the multiverse of madness yesterday and it was absolutely incredible, such a good movie. I’ll be watching it a second time soon since I have to see it again, I really enjoyed it. So before I watch it a second time I can watch this. spoiler spoiler spoiler it's because what if has nothing to do with the movie. they're not connected at all. no one who appeared in what if appears in the movie just alternate versions of captain Carter and Dr strange. those variants seen in the movie just happened to also be similar to the what if characters. major differences: what if Carter is much more muscley, she doesn't use a jetpack, and her universe didn't appear to be as flowery. the movie illuminati we're not a multiverse team up, they were just that version of the avengers in that universe. Dr strange supreme has a much more different beard look, he also doesn't have a universe, the one we saw was two universes merged. he's also much more powerful and strange would unquestionably have died had he faced him. he also still has the time stone this strange was not shown to have one.

You forgot to mention the Loki and What If series! Loki has a direct impact on the Multiverse since ( SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!! Since Loki and his variant Sylvie broke the Sacred Timeline and allowed the Multiverse to, well, be unleashed. What If keeps surfing on that concept by assembling a team called the Guardians of the Multiverse!! These events directly caused the Multiverse to exist in the first place
