I would say that interior def is better to have than block and here is my experience. When I get blocks more often than not the other team gets the ball back and catches the defense off guard and end up with a wide open shot. I prefer to play hands up defense and make the player miss the shot so I can grab it.

So basically if you’re getting a good jump animation but no contest, it’s because you have no int def. So make sure you’re getting a solid rating for both.

i have 99 block and 99 int def. and its int def by a mile. getting blocks is more about position and int def just makes you a menace around the basket. when i make my build over it will have super high int def atleast 96 and block will be 87 to 92 more likely 87. also strenght matters alot if you have no strenght you ll get alot of fouls called on you.

So i cant decide. As a 6'4 guard do i need interior defense or not? I could either leave it at 25 and get 60 defensive reb (which would give me bronze hustle rebounder) + 40 offensive rebound or pump interior defense to 70 and only have 40 defensive rebounding and no offensive rebounding ( i do have 85 vertical)

Tutes you should check if vertical affects chances of getting a rebound. I swear my friend who is 6’10 and only like 88 rebounds and 94 vertical gets way more boards than guys 72 with 99 rebound

Block rating is literally just used to get anchor, which applies to hands up and not just actual blocks. So it's just a tied attribute.

Anchor is more importand for paint defence then the block itself . So you need gold anchor anyway. People just dont understand that it not about getting blocks . Its the intimidator effect in anchor . The block Animation pulls you out of position anyway . hands up is 100 more reliable . Im really amazed how people need recyled content every year for things they should know . No offense to tutes . But people seems to have a low IQ in general if they need a reminder every f...g year

I think both are equally important depending on the build you have, my builds are a middy power forward at 6’8 and a interior center at 6’10 but they have gold post lockdown and gold anchor. 6’1-6’3 guard imo shouldn’t have it, 6’4-6’7 depending on your position of choice should have at minimum 60-70 interior and 70-80 block, 6’8-6’11 should have at minimum 87 block and 82 interior for silver anchor and silver post lockdown, and 7’0 and over should have gold at the bare minimum for both so 88 and 92
